Millions of Americans ready to buy an Apple VR headset

“Fluent has released a flurry of data this morning, on the iPhone 7, Apple Watch 2 and, tucked away at the end of its research figures, that almost a quarter of Americans over 18-years old would purchase an Apple VR headset,” Jonny Evans writes for Apple Must.

“Fluent asked 1,735 adult US residents, ‘Would you purchase a virtual reality headset from Apple?’ An astonishing 23 percent of them said, ‘Yes,'” Evans writes. “That’s astonishing when you think about it. That’s one heck of a lot of Pokemons, if it did. Apple has already made up to $60 million from the popular VR game.”

“With a decade’s work under the company’s belt, what is it that it is waiting for?” Evans writes. “I think it is the processing power to drive such experiences.”
