“One month after Apple Inc. started selling Apple Watch at its own stores, the company said it will bring the device to Best Buy stores in August,” Daisuke Wakabayashi reports for The Wall Street Journal.
“Apple said its smartwatch will be available at more than 100 Best Buy stores in the U.S., expanding to over 300 outlets before the holiday shopping season. Best Buy will be the first major U.S. retailer beside Apple to sell the device,” Wakabayashi reports. “‘The Apple Watch is an important addition to an emerging product category, and we know our customers want it,’ said Jason Bonfig, senior category officer at Best Buy. ‘We are excited to bring Apple Watch to more consumers, especially with the holidays coming up.'”
“Best Buy stores will carry Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch as well as a wide range of straps and other accessories,” Wakabayashi reports. “It will not carry Apple Watch Edition, the gold-cased model whose price starts at $10,000.”

Can I use Apple Pay to pay for it?
Best Buy is supporting Pay starting this fall.
This should work out as well as the other attempts to sell Apple products through Best Buy. Uninformed staff, poor product display, iffy availability.
Yah, it can be hit or miss, for sure, but my local best buy is a great place for Apple stuff. Apple has their own employees there to help out.
I always seem to be at Best Buy when the Apple employees aren’t. It might be a better deal in that circumstance.
Bestbuy? I avoid them like I avoid country & western music. What kind of hee haw demographic shops there?
Many of their stores have Apple employees staffing the Apple product areas. The one at my local best buy is sharper than many at the Apple Store across town.
And their Macs are always on sale. i just bought my daughter a 15″ Retina MacBook at $300 off.
