Apple prepping San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for iPhone 5 event

“Less than a week ahead of next week’s media event, rumored to be focused on the next-generation iPhone, Apple has started decorating the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts with its typical banners to indicate the upcoming event,” Federico Viticci reports for MacStories.

“Earlier this week, Apple sent invitations to the press for the event they will hold in San Francisco on September 12th, starting at 10 AM PST.,” Viticci reports. “As usual, our friend @SteveStreza has managed to capture a series of photos of the work in progress at Yerba Buena.”

Viticci reports, “We are updating this post with more photos of Apple’s banners at the Yerba Buena Center past the break — these banners are typically of little indication of what the company will announce, but they’re always interesting enough to check out, if anything [at least] from a design standpoint.”
