Stifel analyst sees jump in ‘velocity’ of iPhone 6/Plus production

“Stifel Nicolaus‘s Aaron Rakers today reiterates a Buy rating on shares of Apple, and a $130 price target, after reviewing some import/export data that may have relevance for tracking production of the company’s iPhone shipments,” Tiernan Ray reports for Barron’s.

“The data overall suggest to him ‘Apple has seen significant increase in manufacturing velocity for the iPhone 6 / 6 Plus,'” Ray reports. “Rakers is modeling Apple shipping 70 million to 75 million units this quarter.”
