“If you’re going to spend your life with your hands hovering over a keyboard, you might as well do it right,” Carina Kolodny writes for The Huffington Post. “Or at least make the experience as tolerable as possible.”
“And while most Mac users know basic keyboard shortcuts — command + “X” to cut, command +”V” to paste, etc. — there are so many more life-altering, time-saving tricks to be discovered,” Kolodny writes.
Kolodny explains, “Option+Shift+F11+F12 will lower or raise the volume in smaller increments than the typical volume symbols.”

Dear MDN:

System Preferences/Mission Control/Hot Corners/Top Right = Desktop, hides everything.
Control + Option + Command + 8 does not change the color of the screen for me. I am on an MBAir and 10.9.2
Are these “old” commands?
Control + Option + Command + 8 sends your ip address to nsa.gov
LOL
I think the smaller increments of volume change cited above works if you simply hold down the shift key while adjusting the volume.
Holding down the shift key while minimizing a window makes the animation super stoner slow.
Com+Shift+4 best ever.
Life-altering? Really? Like making a person more generous, less self-absorbed, more apt to praise rather than condemn? Pretty neat trick!
