  1. Now how about a statue outside 1infinite loop?!
And how about just once, the new guard at Apple even mention Steve at one of their future conferences. The empty chair would have been so classy…but they failed to even that.

  2. “the visionary played a large role in the creation of Pixar.”

To be clear, Pixar *company* was founded by Jobs; without him even this very name would never exist, let all all of the films and software the company produces. Without Jobs Lucas was simply going to dissolve that graphics unit — no one really wanted to buy out them for almost two years; only Jobs have “seen” the future.

Of course, the company would not be possible without Catmull and Smith either. So this clarification above can not diminish their role. The clarification was needed only because author of the article made impression as if Jobs was just a venture investor that happen to be around, and thus basically any investor could do it, if not Jobs.

But no one could, no one believed, no one “seen”, no one was “visionary”.
