Apple Music gets new logo

Apple Music

Apple Music is set to get a new logo, according to MacRumors’ Tim Hardwick, who reports that the redesigned mark has already appeared in the third developer betas of iOS 27.2 and macOS 27.2.

The logo matches the one Apple used last month when it announced Apple Music Hall, its 600-capacity venue at London’s Battersea Power Station. At the time, Hardwick notes, it was unclear whether the mark was limited to the hall’s press materials and its site, applemusichall.com, or whether it signaled a broader brand change. Its presence in the system betas now points to the latter: the streaming service’s official logo is being updated.

Apple’s public Apple Music website and web player still carry the current logo. Hardwick writes that those surfaces are expected to switch over as the company rolls out the software updates later this month, shortly after the launch of the iPhone Duo. By then, the new mark should be visible across Apple Music’s apps and related branding.
