C Spire Wireless today announced iPhone 4S will be available beginning Friday, November 11.
iPhone 4S will be available starting at $199.99 for the 16GB model, $299.99 for the 32GB model and $399.99 for the 64GB model with a new two-year contract and data plan. In addition, the iPhone 4 8GB model is available for $99.99, also with a new two-year contract and data plan. iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 will be available at C Spire Wireless retail stores, online at www.cspire.com/iPhone and through the Telesales group at 1-855-CSPIRE4. The asterisk attached to plans 1 and 2 needs more clarity. And, whose network is this contracted to run on?
C Spire operates their own regional CDMA network in the deep Confederacy.
Now, what’s holding up T-mobile? Is it their oddball GSM frequency band?

The carrier I want is CREDO, which just leases lines from Sprint. Unlike all the big guys, it does not contribute to far right causes. I’m with AT&T, the largest single corporate contributor to the Tea Party caucus, which is not – excuse the pun – my cup of tea. For the moment, CREDO only offers crappy old Android models. I might even switch if they had NEW Andoids, but the old ones would be painful. Anyway, there’s no TECHNICAL reason why CREDO can’t carry iPhones, just decisions made behind closed doors.
So you’ve considered punishing yourself by switching from an iPhone to an Android phone just because AT&T donates to conservative candidates/causes?
News flash, most companies give to both parties/sides because they want everyone in Congress listening to their needs. Some years it is more one side than the other, depending on who is in power and what they are proposing to do.
Not your cup of Tea, eh. Well, they are the ones that brought you the iPhone. The risk paid off for the consumer and has helped the unions employees in their organization.
Maybe you should offer your gratitude to those that thought different and gave you a better phone: those liberal conseratives willing to make change rather than those conservative liberals that followed.
Management aside, AT&T also has the largest unionized workforce in the telecoms industry. Some of us support union workers, knowing that management are always douches.
