Apple’s less expensive iPhone 4 (N90A) spotted at Foxconn Brazil

“Gizmodo Brazil has gotten their hands on the cheaper iPhone 4, which is codenamed N90A,” Jake Smith reports for 9 to 5 Mac.

“The cheaper iPhone 4 was spotted at Brazil’s new Foxconn plant, which means we’ll likely start seeing our first ‘Made in Brazil’ devices from Apple next week,” Smith reports. “The phone looks identical to the iPhone 4 of today, and will likely pack less storage than today’s models; 8GB in all likelihood.”

        1. “Brasil” is what its inhabitants call Brazil. Just like “America” is what its inhabitants call “les États-Unis d’Amérique”

The capital of Brasil is Brasília.

  1. The phone looks identical to the iPhone 4 of today

Uh… Then how do you know it’s the “new” iPhone 4, and not just an “iPhone 4 of today”?

I mean, if they look the same…

  2. Serial No’s perhaps? And why do people continue to be surprised by a cheaper phone? It’s been obvious all along that the ageing 3Gs would be dropped in favour of a smaller capacity 4 to go with the 5 when it’s released, for the cheaper PAYG and bottom-end contract market. Move along, people, nothing to see here.

    1. “I refuse to believe any modern photo, with all our photo technology, need be blurry.”

They must have an Android phone, in spite of all the technology and specs most Android phone photos are crap.

      Go figure? !!
