“Former Vice President and Apple board member Al Gore has confirmed that new iPhones will be released in October,” Matthew Panzarino reports for TNW.
“He specifically stated that ‘the new iPhones would be out next month’ at the Discovery Invest Leadership Summit today,” Panzarino reports. “We’ve been informed by Toby Shapshak, the editor of Stuff Magazine in South Africa that is attending the conference, that his quote was specifically: ‘Not to mention the new iPhones coming out next month. That was a plug.'”
Panzarino reports, “Shapshak says that the statement was definitely plural, although it wasn’t clear whether that meant two different models, as the statement was not clarified in any way by Gore.”

Well, it doesn’t surprise that the former VP of the US lacks sensitivity to security issues above his paygrade. The fact that he confirmed it outside his appropriate responsibility is right up there with the present VP Biden.
It has now come out that Joe Biden was the one who identified the Seal’s unit that killed OBL as Seal Team Six, even though he was sworn to secrecy and reminded by the then Secretary of the Defense not to do so. By identifying them as the key unit that was involved in operations of that nature, al Qada was then able to ‘set them up’ and get revenge by leaking that they were the unit to ‘take out’ high ranking leaders. We haven’t heard much regarding that truth unfortunately…

Guys its “more” than likely Gore had permission from Apple to leak this. Apple is the master of manipulating media. Why not choose one of the biggest blowhards out there to spill the beans. First we have a mythical stolen Iphone 5 that no one can find and now this. Apple is so good at stirring media up for their next product.
