SUSTEREN: Rush Limbaugh is very rich, very famous, and very powerful. So he must be able to get anything he wants, right? Apparently not.
RUSH ARCHIVE (Tuesday, June 22): People are getting their iPhone 4s today. Yes, the official launch date’s not ’til Thursday, but some people are getting their iPhone 4s today. It’s random customers. They’re getting them today, and a lot of people are reporting that their FedEx tracking information shows delivery tomorrow. And here I sit — a powerful, influential member of the media — and my hands are empty. No iPhone 4! I’m not going to get mine tomorrow. I couldn’t get in. Remember, I spent all day here during the program trying. At home, I have three other people or four other people trying to get through to make an order to the website. No, didn’t happen.
RUSH (June 23): Yet I got here this morning, and FedEx shows up around — what time was it, Snerdley, 9:30? Snerdley opens the box and for those of you watching on the Dittocam, look what I got? A day early. Yeah. Fascinating? Yeah. Right. Right there it is. I’m holding it in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers of my left hand. You can see it right there if you’re watching on the Dittocam. It is just good to be me, folks. What can I say?

No matter what you think of Rush, he is well known and has a large audience, so any free press is good for Apple. Although I don’t always agree with what he says, I find he is often more right than wrong. Bush and the Republicans in office did more to hurt the conservative cause while they were in power than those on the Left. Now that Obama is in the White House and the Democrats control Congress, the spotlight is rightfully on them. Both sides had a hand in creating the mess that we’re in, but there is no doubt that those currently in power have done little to make things better and are certainly making things worse for the short term and for the foreseeable future.

Why are liberals so angry all the time? This article had nothing to do with politics. Such venomous hatred for someone you clearly don’t listen to, on the subject of a silly toy you both share.

True or not, “very rich, very famous, and very powerful” are not the first adjectives that I would use to describe him. These attributes also have absolutely no bearing on what time your order is delivered.
… but then, it takes a big ego to think that celebrity always deserves priority service.
Note also that I have no interest in attacking his politics because, despite obvious MDN baiting, it serves no one to sink to that level of discourse.

Obama only got in because the dems maximised their traditional October surprise, causing the greatest financial crisis worldwide, which was triggered by decades of political and legal pressures from the left on banks to loan into low income areas (black gettos). These banks in turn sold much of these bad loans to banks all over the world, causing the current global recession.
Odd that someone on the left attacked Always Right, who is actually left of center and made a good point.
I have read more hate-speech on this thread than I have heard come out of Rush’s mouth in 10 years.
Just because you don’t agree or understand someone doesn’t mean there point of view is hate….unless you choose to believe that to make yourself feel bigger.

Rush has always spoke highly of Apple products on his show even back in the tough late ’80’s when Apple and fans were near bottom.
Good for him getting his phone early. He’s stuck by and publicly promoted Apple through thick and thin.

Love them libs. Anything that was directly attributable to Clinton that happened during the Bush administration is Bush’s fault since it was on his watch. Now things that are happening on Obama’s watch are still Bush’s fault. Some people have a problem with accepting responsibility.
It is really amazing just how off topic or just wrong all the bashers are, what happened on the show was his surprise that it came, he was not expecting it early. agree or disagree I don not care either way. There is a whole lot of hate, but i’m not hearing it from Limbaugh, I read it here. He has a right to his opinions, and you have the right to not listen to him and or argue your side.
