The following transcript is from today’s Rush Limbaugh radio show:
RUSH (June 23): I’m minding my own business, folks, and trying to serve humanity and be America’s Real Anchorman, but last night on the Fox News Channel, on the record with Greta Van Susteren.
SUSTEREN: Rush Limbaugh is very rich, very famous, and very powerful. So he must be able to get anything he wants, right? Apparently not.
RUSH ARCHIVE (Tuesday, June 22): People are getting their iPhone 4s today. Yes, the official launch date’s not ’til Thursday, but some people are getting their iPhone 4s today. It’s random customers. They’re getting them today, and a lot of people are reporting that their FedEx tracking information shows delivery tomorrow. And here I sit — a powerful, influential member of the media — and my hands are empty. No iPhone 4! I’m not going to get mine tomorrow. I couldn’t get in. Remember, I spent all day here during the program trying. At home, I have three other people or four other people trying to get through to make an order to the website. No, didn’t happen.
RUSH (June 23): Yet I got here this morning, and FedEx shows up around — what time was it, Snerdley, 9:30? Snerdley opens the box and for those of you watching on the Dittocam, look what I got? A day early. Yeah. Fascinating? Yeah. Right. Right there it is. I’m holding it in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers of my left hand. You can see it right there if you’re watching on the Dittocam. It is just good to be me, folks. What can I say?

MacDailyNews Take: More free, yet quite valuable, advertising for Apple.
MacDailyNews Note: We got our iPhone 4 units today, too! Did you?
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Readers too numerous to mention individually for the heads up.]
The only reason I didn’t get delivery is because I love events, and making Apple clap and cheer for me whilst emptying my wallet. That’s a party!
I used to listen to Rush in NYC, before he became the most popular radio host. Really smart guy, but back then he was the underdog, now he has become more part of the establishment. Liked him before better.
But still fun to see how he can drive the libs apeshit, just with a little common sense.
They tried to compete with him with this pathetic Air America show, but even after pumping in millions and millions, nobody wanted to listen to their blather.
I think they did that on purpose after the pre-order fiasco.
Rather than pissing off customers again, they spread the delivery and activations over the period of 3 days. Now customers are even happier, they have their phones before the official lunch date.
Ok, so where is iMovie?
“America’s Real Anchorman” . . . lol. What a joke.
I had to chase down the Fed Ex driver because no one was home to receive my iphone… 4 for 4 on or before launch day! Woot!
Who cares if this self-serving divisive bigot got an iPhone?!?!
@R2…..I agree. I listen to Rush everyday and one of his core beliefs is being passionate about whatever path you choose in life and creating your own success regardless of whatever or whoever gets in your way. Rush Limbaugh and Steve Jobs may differ politically (although there are a lot of untruths told about Rush) but their passion and drive are exactly the same. Rush played a big part in my stopping at the Mac station in a Best Buy, walking out with an iMac and soon after realizing it was the greatest technological decision I have ever made. Now I own the iMac, two MacBooks, two iPod Touch and an iPhone. Rush is loyal and frequent promoter of Apple products. They are two of the greatest success stories in history.
I took a chance and pre signed for mine and guess what. I GOT IT ….Thanks Apple.
Rush Limbaugh. Douche. Now, a douche with a new iPhone.
I’d love to hear Steve Jobs call into Rush’s show and discuss Apple for about ten minutes…
Limbaugh is an obscene and anti-american hate-monger!
Who gives a shit whether he gets what when?
Keep up the fight Rush. WE NEED TO VOTE THESE COMMIES OUT ASAP BEFORE THEY PERMANENTLY DESTROY THE US. THE MAJORITY OF US WILL STOP THIS DISASTER. MAOBAMA HATES THE US!!!!!!
Barack Hussein Obama is an obscene and anti-american hate-monger!
We give a shit if he gets what he wants!
FLUSH RUSH!
Rush has done more to screw up this country than any democrat could ever dream of.
FURL
MDN: Why are we supposed to care about this Limbaugh buffoon? Because he uses Apple stuff? Or because he’s the mouth piece for the Neo-Con-Job?
@Bob & @BMMX:
You’re BOTH frakkin’ Asshats!
WHO do you think is responsible for getting us into the current disasters we now find ourselves in (Oil Spill, Iraq, lack of regulation Wall Street and the financial industry responsible for CDS’s and the budgetary meltdown of the economy, health “insurance” industry running our lives and lack of universal healthcare, ETC., ETC.)????
AIN’ T the Democrats or Obama!
But, go ahead America and buy the Republican’s line of B.S. one more time until they are able to get back in power and finish the job [of completely selling out America and the American people] that they started when ‘W & DICK Cheney first got into office.
WAKE UP America- I beg of you!
Yeah, I have heared this new .
Some people may excited.

Speaking as a SHAREHOLDER, I am happy when ANY high profile figure can further sales of Apple products.
I would not want to be Rush Limbaugh for all the free iPhones in the world.
Apple is a smart company, and would like to make big money. This is it forces people to buy the latest product approach

Speaking for S. Jobs, that’s what makes two-bit shareholders, like Always Right, so pathetic. Because it’s all about you gettin’ yours ain’t it. Don’t matter if it’s right, good or true. Just about money.
MDN word: POWER
Cuz that’s all that matters to the Right.
@nomoremsbs
Right on brother, me too. Drug addict fat dickhead. Rather be dead.
Limbaugh has always been a huge Mac Addict. He’s an early adopter and he always goes on and on about how he loves Apple products.
