Today, Apple introduced its 2026 “Pride Collection,” a new Apple Watch Pride Edition Sport Loop, watch face, and iPhone and iPad wallpaper to celebrate “Pride Month.”
The new Pride Edition Sport Loop, available to order today, is woven from a rainbow of 11 colors of nylon yarns. The intricate weaving blends one color into the next, creating depth and movement across the band.
The new Pride Luminance watch face complements the band design with colors that refract dynamically. The face is designed in two geometric patterns: radial, featuring rays of color that align with the hour marks, and vertical, reflecting the colorful linear stripes of the weaving pattern. With this collection, users can customize the watch face with even more color options to create unique designs.
The matching iPhone and iPad wallpaper feature similarly customizable colors.

Continuing this annual month-long institutional “Pride” celebration, complete with corporate rainbow branding and mandatory institutional signaling, now serves less as a corrective for genuine marginalization and more as a self-perpetuating identity ritual that treats a historically oppressed group as perpetually victimized despite its members’ above-average socioeconomic outcomes in many metrics and outsized cultural influence in media, entertainment, and tech.
At a time when societies face pressing challenges around family formation, fertility collapse, and social cohesion, sustaining a dedicated month that emphasizes sexual identity above all else risks entrenching division rather than fostering the post-equality integration it once sought.
I can’t wait to see the Humility Collection.
