  1. highly trained staff of specialist my ass. They know how to read the basics of their playbook. Don’t even get me started when you see a best buy employee recommend a cheap ass HP laptop over all the Mac line.

Anyway I can’t wait even to pre-order my iPhone 4.

  2. At least you know what price the handset’s gonna be in the US of A – pre-orders start in the UK tomorrow and although carriers have put up their monthly calling plan prices there’s still no word of how much the handset’s gonna cost 🙁

  3. Can I throw out a dumb question… My wife and I are going to pre-order our first iPhones tomorrow. We want to pick up in store at our local ATT store because we want the phones in hand in case because we are going on vacation the next day. Do we need to pre-order at the store we want to pick up at? (ex. if we pre-order on apple.com, it gets shipped; if we do it at ATT, we can pick up instore; same with Best Buy).

    Am I understanding this correctly?

    Thanks for the help.

  4. Apple is usually pretty good about getting you your device on launch day. With this launch happening on a Thursday I really wouldn’t worry about not getting it then. However, you can reserve one for pickup in your local apple store and it would be just like AT&T;or BestBuy.
