“One of the more interesting things that we know for sure about Apple’s big event this week is the venue. Apple has booked the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, rather than hosting it at its Cupertino headquarters,” Rob Enderle writes for TechNewsWorld. “To me, what this signals is that Apple isn’t quite sure of this product and wants to distance itself, in a way.”
MacDailyNews Take: Holy crap. Some other things that Apple has announced at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts over the years include: multiple versions of iTunes, the debut of movies in iTunes Store, and multiple generations of iPod shuffle, iPods, iPod touches, and iPod nanos. Using Enderlean logic, Apple wasn’t sure of iPod and iTunes and therefore chose Yerba Buena in order to distance themselves from the products. Our Great Aunt Edith could provide better tech analysis and she died in 1978.
Enderle continues, “In terms of secrecy, this is the Bizarro of Apple launches, making me wonder if there is a Steve Jobs clone running Apple and whether instead of being a copy, he’s a mirror image. I’ll guess we’ll know when he presents the product wearing white.”
Full conglomeration of total and painful idiocy – Think Before You Click™ – here.
Isn’t it obvious? He gets paid to look like an idiot. There is no one in the technology world thats a stand up comedian. The secret is out. Rob Enderle “is” the standup comic in the tech world! LOL
I just thew up a little in my mouth.

Rob Enderle = Crown Prince of Village Idiots
I take his comments for what they are, just a way to bring hits to his bosses and advertisers. My thing is, with so much noise throughout the media, it’s a shame that we have to wade through stuff like this to get to the real news.
Sir Gill Bates
“His Wikipedia entry isn’t exactly flattering:”
Yikes! You’re not kidding. It actually says: “Enderle is criticized by informed technology watchers because of his consistent errors of fact and poor record on predictions.[9]
He often cites urban legends (such as Apple “stealing” the GUI from Xerox PARC) as fact.[10][11]”
You’d think the guy would have checked his own Wikipedia page and excised stuff like that.
BTW, is anyone else having trouble loading the MDN pages? I keep getting the error message Problem loading page. The connection to the server was reset. And if it does load, it takes forever.
@ Islandgirl,
When I have a page here grind interminably I simply stop and restart it. That usually gets it to load, but if not I’ll try again later. This isn’t the only site I have these issues with using Safari.
Enderle’s bong must have been full this morning.
The local high school teen preparing my McDonald’s order presents far more value to society than the Enderle Group…if Enderle’s compensation exceeds that of said teenager, his clients are being duped.
When I have a page here grind interminably I simply stop and restart it.
Been doing that. It’s loading a little better now. The problem was occurring in both Firefox and Safari, so I think it’s probably not browser-related.
I haven’t ever seen pics of Enderle, but when I picture him, I see the sniveling, duplicitous “magician” from the Frosty the Snowman cartoon.
@ aka Christian,
He looks fairly normal; no resemblance to Snidely Whiplash. I’ve seen him on Cranky Geeks and he comes off much more sane than he does in his writings. I guess you can’t necessarily tell a book by it’s cover.

Personally, I think that MDN ought to consider ending the reports on Enderle. He’s no that stupid, he just wants hits. It’s entertaining on some level, but his crap is getting reinforced by the hits he gets.
Let’s truly shut him out. He’s such a dork. I feel like it’s 1998 every time I read his posts. And that is not a good thing.
Was that a sad attempt at trying to short Apple stock?
Enduhle sez: “To me, what this signals is that Apple isn’t quite sure of this product and wants to distance itself, in a way.”
BWAHAHAHA!
En-DUH-le: The last of the old fashioned ‘Apple’s gonna die!’ FUD mongerers. Someone give this antique a dusting please! He can’t see through the cobwebs.
“Rob Enduhle writes for TechNewsWorld.” <– The last bastion of anti-Apple stooopidity.
HeeHeeHee! MDN makes me smile. See my teeth? 😀
Meanwhile: Notice how Apple require a BIG theatre because this is a BIG product.
R sez: “Let’s truly shut him out. He’s such a dork. I feel like it’s 1998 every time I read his posts. And that is not a good thing.”
I know the sentiment. I feel that way about Dvorak.
But Enduhle is different. He is truly the blithering Village Idiot of the entire computer community. No one can beat his shear asinine comments. Anything he says is guaranteed to make the Apple community laugh and laugh and laugh…
So laugh along! As in: ‘Can you believe anyone could be so stooopid?! Laugh at the fool! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!’

@ron,
for someone as old as you are, you sure are pretty childish. I thought people were supposed to age gracefully.
Wikipedia page updated with reference to article.
I didn’t even call him names.
Is he in any way related to Nancy Pelosi? Or for that matter, any other idiot running our government? Maybe it’s a case of nepotism, and they’re all related to each other?
Rob Enderle is doing a big blow job.
