Arsenal Football Club have launched their official app for Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch.
Now Arsenal fans can be fully connected with the club 24/7/365, even on the go.
The ‘Arsenal App’ takes its news feed from the Club website. This is the official mouthpiece for the English Premiere League team – the place where statements are released, news is broken and transfer deals confirmed. With the ‘Arsenal App’ you can choose which news feeds you want on your home page – main news, Reserves/Youths, Ladies, Junior Gunners, Community or USA. There are also dedicated pages for fixtures and the latest Premier League table.
In addition, each first-team squad member has a detailed player profile with personalised updates every month and live statistics.
There is a video section where you can find exclusive interviews with the players and special features. Pictures of every first team game will be posted in the Gallery section as soon as possible after the match.
Managing Editor Richard Clarke said in statement, “We hope the Arsenal App is the final piece in the jigsaw for the Club’s fans. It means they will be able to follow the team anywhere, everywhere and all the time. For us, this is very much Phase One. We have other exciting developments in the pipeline. But they will be revealed in due course.”

I am probably the only one who hates soccer… er… football.
I can hear it now: “Stupid typical American. Soccer is the real sport here. No pads or timeouts or…” blah blah.
Pads are necessary in hockey. Without them, injuries would be even higher than the “injuries” that you see every other minute in soccer.

You’re right. No Champions League highlights at all. Just read an interview with Nick Hornby on the ArseApp, but the Red Sox connection is just appalling. If there was a team in American sports that are akin to the Arsenal, I would say it’d be the “Showtime” Lakers.
A friend, a Giants and Yankees fan who is interested in supporting an EPL side asked for my advise and I sent them toward Liverpool. He couldn’t pick them because they wear red, just like the Arsenal.

I wish to let you know, what i believe that is the secret of your success these season. I have been following your matches these season with strong backing, I prepare my self before and during every match you embark on.I may not let you know this,if not that my profession at the moment have suffered set backs since July this year, i started to obey that voice that let me know my stand as a strong man.I don’t wish to continue being strong because my work doesn’t need much strength and therefore have experienced sluggish progress since is the type of work that needs flexibility. And this i may not achieve being strong all day.
One of the reasons i strongly know that i have to say to strong men & women’s progress in these world is that on 18th of May 2005, I left my home town to near by town where i spent two years in church fasting because of my health condition and during these time my very loving things deteriorated. ( though i came back on 31st of May 2007). During these my stay at home (where i am well fed), i experienced progress to most of my things again till February 5th 2008 when i left home to Benue-State for (white-collar) job. since i was born i have never stayed without food for a long time, but since i went to church for prayers i did it but when i came home i decided not to do it again because of manual work i was doing that needs much strength. But now that i am in Benue state doing these work that does not need much strength, i don’t eat enough food to enable me be flexible as i can. On 13th of July these year, I got a word, telling me who i am. the spirit also let me know that my less strength is affecting strong men and women out there, from that day i resolve to eat well. But now i am not flexible and my work is suffering.
You may say who is these young man. I will explain to you more who God have made me. To prove to you my integrity, Arsenal will lose these weekend fixture against sunder land. Then against Chelsea, arsenal will win. Arsenal is the strongest premier league club followed by Chelsea, Liverpool before Man-united.
I love Arsenal football club since 2002 and wouldn’t want to see arsenal these season going back without a trophy. You guys (Arsenal players) are the joy of millions of Nigeria fans. I will also like to tell you that i don’t support arsenal alone. I do support my own country Nigeria. By the grace of God Nigeria have qualified for World Cup. Nigeria under 17 have reach final, though the lost, the lost is because one man have taken the credit as a prophet. Before the final match, he have predicted couple of goals in that match, I heard it through the television and i decided to stay without food to see whether he can dictate the future or not. And what happened, we lost. I later regret my actions when i see my brothers (Nigerians) crying and weeping.
I love Arsene wenger not only because he love beautiful football but also for the fact that he does not brag. Manchester-United have spoken much because of their recent trophies and i have decided that these season they will not win anything. They have lost to Liverpool, even when liver pool is struggling to stand, I caused that.
I therefore plead with Arsene Wenger and the Management to listen to this message because fans are crying. I don’t wish Arsenal to lose any single of their game no matter the size.
I suggest that you should chose a friendly match to prove my authenticity instead of the league match. But if you don’t do anything before this weekend, Arsenal must surely lose.
