Video of new aluminum Apple MacBook leaked? (with link to video)

Apple.pro and AppleOwner.com have posted a video claiming to show Apple’s next-gen aluminum MacBook that’s widely expected to be unveiled (anticlimactically) by Apple CEO Steve Jobs next Tuesday, October 14th.

The video shows an aluminum MacBook with a large trackpad (like MacBook Air) and a screen with a rather wide bezel.

  1. What a joke! What is the point. While it may be the new Macbook (or not) what is the point of going through the exercise and not zooming out to show the whole thing. As well the camera work is absolutely horrible. If there was a security concern over getting caught while filming you would have been faster to just snap a quality photo than two minutes of that garbage.

How is it anticlimactic? We still have no idea what the major product transition is . . .

This article is a ‘hit whore’.

  3. Well, the video certainly qualifies as anticlimactic, and if this is all we see on Tuesday, then that could qualify as well. Looking for a reason to upgrade my MBP 2.16, and so far, I haven’t heard or seen anything that sounds like a possible candidate.

  4. Regardless of the video… count me in as not be happy about Aluminum Mac Books. Frankly, I like a significant differentiation between the Mac Book and Mac Book Pro (physically). Now there will be a bunch of posers out there ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  5. The other thing that is questionable is that the laptop in the video has very rounded corners but the one in the email invite doesn’t. The hinged edge also makes it look like the thickness tapers, unlike the Aluminum case photos we have seen.
