No Scroll Zone: Bill O’Reilly slams Apple iPod

“Apparently sparked by the PlayStation 3 launch, conservative pundit Bill O’Reilly took off after video game culture and digital technology generally in yesterday’s Radio Factor,” GamePolitics reports. “The controversial talk show host, who advertises his program as a ‘no spin zone’ offered the following spin on Apple’s iPod:”

I don’t own an iPod. I would never wear an iPod… If this is your primary focus in life – the machines… it’s going to have a staggeringly negative effect, all of this, for America… did you ever talk to these computer geeks? I mean, can you carry on a conversation with them? …I really fear for the United States because, believe me, the jihadists? They’re not playing the video games. They’re killing real people over there.

  1. Always Wrong is true pure evil. An over the top bad actor. Don’t let this loser bother you people. He/She has to live with themself. Thank god you’re not that person. Creepy!

Creepy, very creepy. Scary, very scary. You are a Truly Disgusting Person.

    Dispicable.

    THIS IS HILARIOUS!
    You people can’t be serious!

You aren’t too smart, are you?

HONDO- wow. THAT looks to me, to be very hard-hitting objective, undeniably reliable source material.

    Whew.
    I must admit, VERY COMPELLING.

    MDN word- “evidence”!

    HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

Personally, I wish we had a true public servant back in the oval office.
    CLINTON (Bill).

I don’t care who sucks his pecker.

  2. Poor old Bill O’Rly. Biting the hand that feeds you won’t take your falling ratings higher. Maybe he should, as he so often and eloquently puts it, just “SHUT UP”!!!

Bill O’Rly is a raving lunatic detached from reality, just like those “computer geeks”.

MW: ‘became’ as in ‘Bill O’Rly became a sad joke’.

  3. The wonderful thing about America is that all can share their views, but the level of immaturity in these posts is truly outrageous. The passion is fantastic, the views – in most cases – not so much.

I highly doubt Bill believes in half the things he’s saying, and even if he does – who cares? He certainly isn’t influencing the younger generation or anyone I know.

Freedom allows people like Bill, Rush, Jon, Stephen and everyone else, as far as that goes, to have a dissenting or – sometimes – moronic opinion.

I don’t agree with his thoughts on iPod use, but I do think it was partly misconstrued, and I also don’t care realy what he thinks.

If nothing else it’s all great entertainment for all of us. Right?

  4. You all have missed his point. Bill O wants geeks to kill more people. Real people.

I really fear for the United States because, believe me, the jihadists? They’re not playing the video games. They’re killing real people over there.
