BlackBerry devices sync with Apple’s Mac OS X

“Software developer Information Appliance Associates announced Thursday the release of an application synchronizing Research In Motion’s BlackBerry devices with Apple’s Mac OS X,” Richard Shim reports for CNET News. “The program works with the BlackBerry 5810, 6210, 6230, 6280, 6510, 6710, 6750, 7210, 7230, 7280, 7510, 7730, 7750 and 7780, and the RIM 957 device.”

  1. Paul, Blackberry is deployed in some large corporations as a mobile messaging solution. We have a few Blackberry servers that tie in to our MS Exchange servers for mobile delivery of internal corporate mail.

  2. Too many execs “pray to the Blackberry” at meetings. They attend the meetings, but they are not actually *there*. Discipline is an important ingredient in the wireless access approach.
