RealNetworks posts RealPlayer 10 beta for Mac OS X

“RealNetworks has posted RealPlayer 10b, a new beta of its video playback application, as anticipated earlier this week. It offers support for many of the major Internet media formats, including RealAudio, RealVideo, AAC, QuickTime and MPEG, as well as an integrated browser window, advanced video controls, full screen playback, and a sound graphic equalizer,” MacNN reports.

  1. Shouldn’t this announcement have been included in the one above it, thus making it the >>>29th<<< piece of spyware? Won’t make it onto my machine, that’s for sure.

  2. Well Realplayer is better than WIndows Media Player but both lose to Quicktime. I wish everybody would off content in all three. It sucks to have to watch something on WMP, the quality is really bad.

  3. What? They support QuickTime and AAC? Where is the CEO from Real who said that Apple must support WMP things? Now it happens that Real must support QT things instead. They must pay license fees to Apple and that is nice.

    My new machine does not have Real or WMP in it and never will. I agree with iSteve.. if it isn�t in QT it isn�t worth wathcing.
