Hard drives will be faster and larger. The Aluminum form factor will remain the same,” Jason D. O’Grady reports for O’Grady’s PowerPage.
O’Grady reports, “There will be one more update to the Aluminum PowerBook G4 after this one before the PowerBook G5 is announced. There will be no dual processor PowerBook G4s as originally speculated in these pages.”

Its been a sublime year for Apple products and for the majority of normal folk this extra 10% extra speed issue is not so important. Quality of life with Apple computing would be worth staying with even if it were half the speed!

I wonder how the supplies of g4’s is doing. I wonder if Moto has a pile of them that Apple is obligated to use. That is one possible explanation for this interminable wait for G5’g all around. If apple needs help designing the g5 into a laptop, maybe it is time to ask an expert, like IBM, or toshiba, or ……..ACER.
