Apple Pay headed to New Zealand

“Kiwis will be able to use Apple Pay here soon – but only if they bank with ANZ,” Emma Brannam reports for NewsHub. “The contactless payment system is currently available in nine countries including the US and Australia. Japan, Russia and New Zealand are next on the list and although not officially mentioned at Apple’s iPhone 7 launch on Thursday, there are rumours of an October launch here.”

Brannam reports, “Apple Pay will also debut on the web this spring so payments can be made with Safari on Mac, as well as on-the-go with iPhone or iPad.”
