“As with the CNNgo website and iPhone and iPad apps, live video is gated behind a cable or satellite subscription,” Fingas reports. “Just yesterday, the Apple TV was updated with channels for TED, Tastemade, and Young Hollywood.”

Fingas reports, “In the past two years, Apple has dramatically accelerated the pace with which channels are added.”

    1. No, you’re not alone! I want an automatic way to hide icons based on whether or not a cable subscription is required for access. I hope the new Apple TV UI brings big improvements.

      1. CNN = Clinton News Network
        CNN = Communist News Network

        That’s how the Right side see’s it.
        We are just as convinced that the left is wrong as you are that the right is wrong. It’s not going to change. Get over it.

        1. CNN is center right infotainment- Faux Newz is Republican Talk Radio masquerading as news. There is no left leaning MSM in the United States despite the rants otherwise.

          If you wish to see Liberal or Progressive content read The Nation, Mother Jones, Truthout,etc.
          The broadcast nets and large papers are all owned by large corporate conglomerates that lean toward the right wing.

    1. Doesn’t work with Comcast either, but the FX app finally worked today. I did watch the new 3D printing breakthrough demonstration on the new TED app last night. The presenter printed a very complex shape in under 10 minutes and says they are working on a design that will print 1000 times faster than traditional 3D printers which will print the same intricate widget in under one minute. Check it out.

  1. Unfortunately, all major news networks do not report the truth, only an opinion on the topic or situation. The days of when news networks reported the news facts are long gone. CNN, Fox, etc. all present based on their viewpoint: left-leaning or right-leaning. They do a good job of keeping the masses confused 🙂
