Huge Apple Watch spread appears in The Sunday Times

“Following cover stories in major publications across China, France and the U.S., Apple Watch made its big UK debut on Sunday with a three-page spread in widely circulated fashion magazine Style,” AppleInsider reports.

“Apple Watch dominated ‘The Big Spring Issue’ of Style magazine with two separate stories in the fashion-oriented standalone included with weekly UK broadsheet publication The Sunday Times,” AppleInsider reports. “The first article, which relates to one of four covers created for the magazine’s special edition, offers a broad overview of Apple’s upcoming device and highlights a picture of model Guinevere Van Seenus wearing a Space Gray aluminum Apple Watch Sport.”

AppleInsider reports, “Interestingly, the accompanying caption quotes the device at $349, a price that runs counter to recent rumblings claiming the Space Gray model could be more expensive than its silver counterparts.”

  1. Ah the call of the fashionistas…”I want it I want it.”

Wow check out that image of what model Guinevere Van Seenus does at sex o’clock. I think they are giving a thumb’s up to the product. I’m so glad they are raising awhoreness about the new watch.

      1. Thanks for that, otherwise I’d be totally under the scale. I got to love the vote feedback feature. I never use it and when I do, I speculate that people have no sense of humor or they have outlawed sex innuendoes somewhere. Mind you talking about sex at a geek forum is pretty tasteless, it’s sooo not fashionable.

        Like wearing plaid with stripes.

  2. I wish Apple the best of luck working with those fashion people. Nothing seems to hold their interest for more than a few minutes at a time. By the time anything actually gets to the wearing stage, it’s already out of date. AppleWatch may be a fashion statement for all of a month then it’s on to something new. I think the average technology stays in favor for about a year, but fashion has four seasons in a year. That pace is a killer. It’s a life I can’t even comprehend considering I’ve been wearing black Levi 550s and white T-shirts for decades.

    1. Oh and NO. You don’t put thumbs in mouths unless you’re picturing babies. Appalling. The market for Watch users is not going to be juveniles. I can’t imagine Apple had anything to do with these dreadful illustrations.
