Bill Gates“According to the Gates foundation, the proposals should have a testable hypothesis, a connected plan, and should be able to generate an explicit data plan in Phase I to be considered for Phase II.”

  1. Look its easy just like the picture of smokers and their afflictions. On every package of condoms put Balmers face saying:” You could bring this into the world.” Watch how fast condom use goes up.

  2. Hey Bill, make sure that the next generation condom is pre-approved by the Pope.

Meanwhile Bill the problem with the current condom is that you have to unroll it. This condom unrolls itself on you.

Really really good population control and disease, wipes them clear off that map. Here’s your next generation condom Bill, wear it with pride.

  3. The Deluxe Ballmer Edition will be Pre-Lubed with Ballmers own Sweat with a Certificate of Authenticity, A Unique serial number and a complimentary Vile of his Sweat collected from his most private reserves!

That’s gonna sell like hot cakes!

  4. Get a grip on yourself, take a look at the foundations Last published tax filing, http://docs.gatesfoundation.org/about/documents/bmgf_foundation%20-%202011%20form%20990-pf.pdf

The Gates foundation has a significant payroll over five million to the trustees and executive plus other fees and expenses (50,000.000 for conferences) the trustees are, Bill, Malinda, Bill’s dad, and Warren Buffet. Over 275,000,000 in Other professional fees ect.

This is just a tax dodge and way to redistribute his wealth to the family and rite off trips and travel through the foundation.

Yes he is doing some good, but not as match as what you would expect considering the amount of money that was put in.

  5. Hey, if he’s trying to pay off his guilt of doing evil and others benefit, at least someone gets a good deal. Wasn’t ever his PC customers benefitting that’s for sure.

  6. If you’re an atheist it shouldn’t bother you.

What does it matter what his motivations are? Common good is common good. At least he’s not trying to cure cancer with fruit juice and acupuncture.

    1. it does not bother, hence my bracket.

charity is charity. philanthropy or giving should come from the heart or it has no meaning – of course it matters! if you don’t do it all the way, you’re half-ass. Billy gives for a plaque on some building. iSteve gave silently/transparently and for what really matters: education. education not money solves everything if you do it practically. guesswork or dumping $ does solve anything. just like AIDS concerts – what helped is BodyShop’s “Trade not Aid” as otherwise you merely prolong the problems. Sustainability is it.

funny we believe so much in science. Chemotherapy is hailed yet has 2% success rate. alternative ways are not less credible. iSteve died as he started either too late. as for acupuncture: it was the only way wy wife got pregnant! no dr. specialist could do it!

but what Billy is doing is throwing $ in the haystack & like Google’s 1000s of projects in the lab, hopes to hit a home run on 1 – randomness does not equal intelligence!

  7. Go pound sand. Bill Gates is doing some good he also did a lot of bad. He’s hardly a saint, he’s sacrificing nothing to do this he won’t use those billions, and he’s hardly taking a vow of poverty.

Given that most of his billions were made ripping off IBM, Apple! Netscape, and a whole host of other companies, I can hardly find much nice to say. It’s like a mafia Don handing out rolls of cash he got by bullying, murdering and swindling. Gates did two of those things, just no murder.

Call us what you want and feel free to judge but you prove nothing, only that you condone theft and scummy business practices and whitewashing a life by doing some good works near the end. He gets some credit from me but you seem to want o ignore how he got that money to begin with and sorry but I can’t go there with you.
