“Sprint has begun accepting pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 4, two days after being announced as a new carrier for the phone,” Erik Berte reports for FOXBusiness.
“At a press conference Tuesday where Apple unveiled the upcoming iPhone 4S, the company announced Sprint would not only carry the 4S, but also the new, lower-capacity 8GB iPhone 4,” Berte reports. “Sprint customers who want the latest and greatest 4S model, however, will have to wait until Friday, October 7 to pre-order, like everyone else.”

No, it’s not! Every other phone in the world is able to connect through any carrier chosen by the owner. Why should iPhone be any different?
I would kill for an iPhone. But I will never buy one until I can connect through whichever carrier I choose. People in countries where such arrangements are almost universal, will feel the same.
