I’m giddy with excitement. What other tech company delivers such thrilling anticipation? (Cue the Carly Simon song!)
Can we NOT do reverse order?
Seriously!
Can we please just start reading from the top of the page down?
If I only want the latest I’ll go to the bottom of the page, but the “read down/scroll up thing” makes it harder to keep track of the order.
You can get that option at http://www.macnn.com/live
This is the 21st century.
You would think that with all these smart programmers and software out there, someone would say, “Hey, reading this in reverse order is stupid. Change the code to post it correctly.”
Nah, too much work.
Reverse order is so that you can stare at the webpage as it auto-reloads every minute and never have to scroll down. If it were in chronological order, every new post would require a page refresh and a scroll-down.

This.
I like to read it in the order it was posted, not catch a glimpse then scroll down to read about what I just saw.
Merry Christmas!
Let there be Jobs.
That’s what and whom I’m looking forward to the most.
+1
I too, am hoping for this. There will always be devices from Apple but only one Steve Jobs. I also hope that everyone will be cheering Tim Cook on today. It’s a big day for him and he deserves everyone’s support. It even passed through my mind that this might be one of the reasons Apple decided to throw their announcement from corporate even if only to get Steve Jobs closer to the scene with absolute privacy and not to put him through any more physical stress that he may be suffering now. Saying alot of Hail Mary’s today.
Me too. But he’d better have an iPhone 5! Because I don’t think the 4S is what everybody has been waiting 15 months to see. I mean the stock is tanking much worse than usual at a new hardware announcement. If there’s no 5 it could get really ugly. I’m still on my 3GS. I’ll take the 4S if that’s all there is but boy will I be pissed! I don’t think Apple fans will be happy either.
What is there really is no iPhone 5 as some analysts have purported? Man, that’s a frightening prospect. If Cook or Jobs or whoever comes out to unveil a souped up iPhone 4 with voice dialing on steroids, it will be a disaster for Apple.
I second that thought R2. But it’s looking like that’s what we get. Major disappointment. Stock will reflect the same. Wow! Surely they could have done a new design? I guess just figured why spend more money on a new phone when we can simply upgrade the iPhone 4 ? People are lined up like sheep to buy them now so why shouldn’t we try to ride the iPhone 4 design for all it’s worth? Not good if that is what they have done. I think it will hurt them in the long run.
According to Jon Fort on CNBC Apple doesn’t have to change production lines by keeping the same design.Especially profitable in the holiday quarter. But profitability isn’t helping the stock. And the same iPhone 4 design won’t really move the stock forward like the iPhone 5 would have. I have seen analysts already drop their projected forecast prices. This may have been convenient and profitable short term but long term it sucks! Apple fans will still buy because the iPhone 5 isn’t here. I think that this may be a time to reflect on later. Too many people were expecting more. Apple will lose credibility with this hardware. I’m afraid the cloud and voice control just isn’t enough. All this is on Steve’s watch. You don’t think that because Tim was just named CEO that all this happened in a few weeks do you? No sir. Steve has been in charge through all these announced items today. Steve. Not Tim. Tim is in charge now. It will probably take 2 years before he will be responsible for Apple’s direction. This stuff and more to come are on Steve’s watch.
Let’s get this said so we can move on: Wow. Just Wow.
I’m Gona laugh my head of there is no new iPhone but a realease date of iOS 5 , but my hopes are high for a new I phone so I can shut my mates mouth braggin about his dried crap
Since I’m less than a year into contracts with a pair of iPhones (one for me and one for my lovely wife) I’m excited to see what Apple has dreamed up but sort of bummed I won’t be able to partake in the new hardware.
I am excited to get iOS 5, though, and hopefully get to throw iCloud into the mix . . . so that’s where most of my interest lies today.
Midwest… sell the old iPhones on ebay overseas, make more $$ than you paid for them originally, buy the new iphone when it comes out. Repeat every iphone release cycle.
Works. Every. Time.
Its like christmas early! The store is down now we just need for the lights to come up!
store closed in US … 0930PST…
I hope this update is awesome, but iPhones are like Star Trek: The even numbers are the best.
Tell that to Star Trek 10: Nemesis, aka The Film That Killed The Franchise (Until The Reboot)
A much better measure of which Star Trek films are good, is whether or not any of the main characters sing in the movie. That knocks out 5, 7, 9 and 10. So, as long as Tim Cook doesn’t sing onstage, we should be fine!
TNG doesn’t count. Besides, Kirk, McCoy, and Spock sing in #4, and on the whole, that was a pretty good movie.
iPhone 5? Pfft. I just got an email saying the iPhone 5S is already being released. I ordered one but now my computer is acting funny.
brb gotta re-install Windows.
iPray 4 iPhone 5

You can get that option at http://www.macnn.com/live/
Heard that a Japaneese sight prematurely showed only a 4S available 10/14.
(That was on Rush, so I bet it is some right wing conspiracy)
New iPhone 5 with a G6 processor running OS9.5…
why does this idiot start off by telling us what time the event will start, then proceed to take the time to type “only about 5 minutes to go” well no shit only about 5 minutes to go, I concluded that from the earlier post…
My first PRODUCT LAUNCH!!!!
• “My first product launch since begin named CEO”
ha ha, damn autocorrect!
Yawn! 15 minutes and no mention of iPhone. Good thing they did not title this event “Let’s talk iPhone”.
just my $0.02
Very excited about this live event. I’ve gone here for this event for a good few years now. Thank you MacDailyNews for doing it.
F***!! There’s too much blah going on. I hope to God it’s not going to be f***ing iPhone 4S behind all the smoke.
No f***ing shit. It’s an iPhone 4S after all. Apple’s just fallen behind the technological curve. F*** it, Tim Cook’s no Steve Jobs, that’s for sure. No damn imagination.
THE MOST BORING GODDAMN PRESENTATION EVER!!!!! TOTAL SNOREFEST!!!!
You are really annoying.
Then don’t read my comments. No one’s forcing you to read anything, dumbo.
What a f-ing disappointment!
Your comments are just like a big pile of dog sh**’ you see it and either you step in it or step over it but they are still their.
So your comment of not reading your blabbering B.S is mute, No matter what you do, it’s still in front of you.
Get it..
No, I don’t because if you can’t skip over words in a page it means your retardation is at the extreme end of the scale.
Big words, very funny seeing you try to defend your low self esteem issues on a public blog.
But if it makes you feel better, go for it.
You have already shown your limited mentality… But then that’s all you have, and you are entitled to your short comings.
I’m entitled for you to shut the f*** up and not pollute my comments with your inane statements.
Yes, because Steve Jobs had nothing to do with the strategy or planning leading up to this launch, most of which took place while he was still CEO. Sheesh, grow up and think for a minute!
This is a prime example of what happens when the Apple rumor mill hypes everything up to crazy proportions. Inevitably, there are people who are disappointed when reality doesn’t live up to crazy prediction. From what I’ve heard so far, Apple is still comfortably ahead of the competition.
It’s obvious to me that whatever’s being released today is a supreme example of planning by committee. Without Steve Jobs at the helm, no one dares to bet the house and take a technological leap in the dark. What we’re seeing is the path of least resistance. The safest design principles were outlined today. Nothing ground breaking or earth shaking.
Well, I’m glad you have such keen insider knowledge on exactly what went into the planning for this thing. Clearly, you should be running Apple instead.
/sarcasm
You’re just refusing to see the incipient design by committee mediocrity that will creep into Apple designs from now on without the influence of Steve Job’s all seeing eye and guiding hand as to where the next technological frontier will be.
For a 15 month development cycle what was announced today could have been done in 11, maybe 12 months, tops. All this wait for nothing. Apple might as well have posted the changes on their website for all the excitement the presentation generated.
Seriously dude…STFU!
Underwhelming so far.
45 min. and we have Twiter, Find my Friend. Yawn
Ruh Roo, Why would they be showing off games on the 4s if there’s a 5?
the 5 has got to be the ‘one more thing’
If it isn’t a lot of silicone case makers are going to have burn their inventory.
Wow!!!!!! The 4S is JUST as fast as and Android. And IOS 5 has copied some of Android’s features, although it doesn’t do any of them nearly as well. And Rotten Apple has the gall to go around the world suing other phone makers claiming they’re copying Apple. Well, when you’re the thief you have to resort to one of the oldest tricks in the world – diversion.
Your a idiot.
While I agree with your sentiment, two things:
1. steve Knobs is a well known anti-Apple troll;
2. your statement would have had a lot more punch if it read: “You are an idiot” (instead of your a idiot).
Yup; it’s “you’re”.
True dat.
OMG, there really is no iPhone 5.
What a dark day in Apple history.
“iPhone 4s most amazing iPhone yet” well, that’s that
Apple. oh apple i have bad news for you. You disappointed me like 1million times. what im gonna do with your new device? i dont think im gonna waste my money on you. IM GOING WITH ANDROID COZ U KNOW WHY THEY MAKE THEIR PHONE like the way their customer want it. its bigger screen, 4g. BYE APPLE. I HOPE in 3 months your real iphone 5 will come out.
Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
Best liveblogger quote I’ve seen so far, from TUAW: “My credit card is even now sobbing to be let out of my wallet.”
it aint over till its over..patience…..
Are you guys reading the same feature list I am? The thing is worthy of being called iPhone 5.
• iPhone 4S: Retina display, A5 chip (same as in iPad), up to 2X as fast, dual core graphics up to 7x faster than iPhone 4
7X Faster than iPhone 4 and you’re whining.
• iPhone 4S; now 8 hours of talk time on 3G, 14 hours 2G talk, 6 hrs. on 3G web browsing
• Impressive graphics ability
• iPhone 4S: now can intelligently switch between two antennas (transmit and receive)
• iPhone 4S is a world phone GSM and CDMA
• iPhone 4S gets new camera: eight megapixel sensor, 3264 x 2448 pixels
• Five element lens, 30% more sharpness, f/2.4 aperture
• Backside illumination, 73% more light, 33% faster capture, Hybrid IR filter, Better color accuracy, more color uniformity
• 1080p HD video recording
I mean yeesh, this is a vastly better phone than the current iPhone 4. A major upgrade.
So you just wanted it to be shaped different and have a 5 on it and that would have made you happy, is that what I’m reading?
Yeah, I think you’ve pretty much nailed it on the head, TM.
That’s my take on their reactions, yeah – people seem to be hung up on the name, not understanding just how huge the internal upgrades really are.
I’m disillusioned, I thought Apple customers were smarter than this.
the iHaters disguising themselves as Apple fans are crawling around the Apple blogs today : even if Apple came out with a Star Trek matter transmitter with the phone they will still diss it.
seriously the 4S is a vast improvement over the 4. At least apple is honest by not putting a 5 on it because they have not changed the shape. The other guys tweak theirs a little bit and come up with bonks of different models.
No matter how much you protest with your marginal improvement list (of features that we all already have) you know deep down this has been a less than thrilling presentation.
A moment of silence, please. Steve Jobs really is gone.
And what, exactly, were you expecting?
I see no marginal improvements in that list. I see some major ones though. If you don’t know what the word means, you shouldn’t use it. Also the one thing left out of that shortened list, Siri is fucking amazing. Stop trolling and go away.
To quote the intelligent poster above:
“So you just wanted it to be shaped different and have a 5 on it and that would have made you happy, is that what I’m reading?”
Yes, that’s exactly what I was waiting for. New design.
They’ve had 15 months and all they’ve done is marginally improve some already existing features. Is this really all there is to today’s “big” announcement? Couldn’t they have skipped this dull presentation and just updated us on the specs with a banner on the store page?
If they’d called this exact same phone “iPhone 5”, I don’t think you’d be using the word “marginal”. Why should they change a design that works and looks perfectly fine? They have to make it look different on the outside just to satisfy the whims of those who were expecting superficial changes?
It amuses me that substantive internal changes are apparently valued less than superficial external changes.
Have you seen the presentation? You have no idea if it’s dull or not. stop trolling.
Wow, Praus, there’s like 3,000 people here in Cupertino. Are you the one with the too tight Empire Strikes Back shirt on? Thought so.
Disappointing indeed. If there isn’t a one more thing iPhone 5
announcement I’m sticking with my 3GS. I don’t like the iphone4 or 4 s design period. New features or not.
I don’t like the 4 or 4S design so I stick to my 3G.
However I don’t complain either. Nice new features.
I’m not sure why all the complainers posting here. The iPhone 4S looks pretty darn attractive to me from all the features they’ve listed.
I think y’all are just hung up on the number. If the exact same phone were called iPhone 5, none of you would be complaining.
Anyone that says, intelligently switching between antennas, on a phone that is 7x faster than its predecessor, with a drastically better camera, is only “marginally improves some already existing features” seriously has no freaking idea of what they are talking about, unless I’m missing the sarcasm.
Without Jobs, there’s no point to these events any more. Might as well have just updated the Apple store online at 1pm eastern with these lukewarm upgrades and price changes.
Well, if you were only in it for the cult of personality surrounding Steve, then, yeah, obviously you’d be disappointed.
The only thing I really wanted from an iPhone five was:
bigger screen
Aluminum Back
while the internals of the 4s are nice, I don’t think its fair to criticize people who were hoping for those two changes
If that’s all people were complaining about, that would be fine. But they’re not. They’re calling it an “incremental” update, because they’re apparently not intelligent enough to realize that “looks the same on the outside” “the same inside”.
(…there should be a not equals symbol between “looks the same on the outside” and “the same inside”)
20 year contract huh?
I think it sounds like one hell of an upgrade myself.
Just reading the list of features makes the droid in my hand feel old
Don’t mind the comments from Ballmers Left Nut. Obviously he is disoriented from choking on Ballmers left nut!
P.S. That Zune thing worked out really well didn’t it? I don’t think I ever met anyone who actually owned one. I bet Tim Cook sells more iPhone 4s in the first month than MS sold Zune’s from beginning to it’s death! Ha ha!
“• iPhone 4 with 8GB for $99 (20year contract) available in black and white”
20-year contract? Wow – those telcos are getting desperate…
On the competitive front, the 4S does nothing new that other phones don’t offer. 15 months for incremental upgrades! I haven’t been this disappointed in an Apple event since they introduced that speaker box a couple years ago.
Yes it does offer something new that other phones don’t, Siri. Goggle voice recognition is basically a glorified google search. Siri is actual AI that makes decisions based on what you tell it. Also this phone, based on specs, looks to be much faster and have a longer battery life then most if not all other phones out there.
7 X as fast isn’t an incremental upgrade, stop trolling.
You keep using that word “incremental”. I do not think it means what you think it means.
You’re not really so shallow to conclude that just because it looks the same on the outside, there’s not much changed on the inside, are you? You were paying attention to the rather impressive list of internal improvements they noted, weren’t you?
And tell me, which other phones offer anything remotely like Siri?
Disappointed.
Seriously, what is the ‘one more thing’ about then, unless it hasnt really ended.
The most impressive element of the presentation, in my opinion, is Siri. For one who travels a lot between meetings, this is great. Were it not for that feature, I wouldn’t upgrade. The camera and all that other stuff aren’t important to me. But then again, after I start benefitting from those system upgrades, I just may change my mind about their value.
The small screen is behind the times. They really needed to jump to 4in.
Concur 100%. This was the one single thing that would’ve made me pull the trigger without hesitation. As it is I’m only 75% committed to an upgrade from my 3GS, because I *hate* speaking aloud semi-private stuff in public so Siri, nice as it is, isn’t high on my must-have features list.
All the features improvements are nice, but ironically, the thing that truly gives the biggest visual impact from a short distance (the screensize, not the case design) is unchanged.
and people say Apple likes to hype: they put huge internal improvements plus SIRI and they call it the 4GS.
the android guys would have called it the Droid Thunder Bazooka (replacing the Droid Ultimate Gigantus ) …
LOL!
The funny thing is I can totally see a lame commercial for the Droid Ultimate Gigantus!
“Siri”ously *Yawn*-worthy.
Putting wallet back in jeans now.
Way to have absolutely no vision. You probably boo’ed the mouse when it came out.
Siri alone will propel this phone into astronomical sales numbers. By keeping the form the same, it also makes new iPhone 4 buyers feel better as well, and I predict the iPhone 4 will outsell any other Android handset, right behind the iPhone 4S.
There is one question I have. I know this was an iOS/iPhone related event, so I didn’t expect much (if any) discussion about OS X Lion. However, iCloud is going to be launched on October 12. Isn’t an upgrade to Lion necessary to integrate Mac OS X with iCloud?
Lion has been ready since day one. The only thing that will need an upgrade is iTunes.
Well, as a iPhone 3GS user, I’m ready to upgrade to the 4S. My only moment of pause is that Apple will release iPhone 5 in Janaury and make my expensive high-end iPhone 4S with a 2 year contract OBSOLETE. They have a bad habit of doing it RIGHT AFTER I buy something new. Its why I’ve been holding out on upgrading the iPhone 4. I bought my 3GS just 2 months before Apple released the iPhone 4.
They may have a habit of releasing new products the moment after you personally buy a new one but they don’t usually release a new iPhone sooner then a year before the last one.
Um… Apple has never released a new Phone (or new version of a just-released computer) just months after a new release, yet EVERY SINGLE TIME, someone is afraid to buy the brand new item for fear of the next version just months later. This is not PC/Android world. Doesn’t happen and there’s no history of it happening to use as proof.
Only idiots would’ve thought an iPhone 5 was being announced. Evidence was clear that there was going to be NO iPhone 5.
Did anyone indicate if Siri would work on current iPhone 4G’s? Furthermore I already have Siri, will it be part of iOS5 or an app like it is now?
This is one of the worst days of my life. For the first time I don’t even feel like checking the updated Apple website to view the new products. I wasted nearly two hours watching these live blogs and it feels like they spent most of it rehashing the WWDC keynote.
People will begin losing interest in Apple presentations after today. I know I don’t plan to watch another one. From now on I’ll just wait until it’s over and see what disappointments were announced.
Enjoy your crow sandwich for lunch… 🙂
Yes, Ken, you win. Lots and lots of crow for R2.
Over the last few days, I actually started to wish for an “iPhone 5” with slightly larger screen, although I still thought it unlikely for this release.
I think the 4-inch screen will come when iOS goes through a major revision that provides full “resolution independence.” At that point, screen size and native resolution won’t be factors in usability or platform fragmentation, because the user can smoothly adjust the size of GUI elements to suit their eye sight, finger size, and other individual preferences. iPhones with an A4 and Retina Display or better will be supported. This is also when I think iPad will go to 8-inch and 12-inch screen sizes.
If a disappointing Apple keynote is the trigger for “one of the worst days of your life”… dude, you need some therapy.
It was seriously mind bendingly disappointing. A total snorefest.
So, if you took the 4S and re-labelled it 5, everyone would be happy ? WTF is that?
I’m very impressed with the new iPhone, especially with Siri.
come on people…. disapointing to say the least. Look at the stock for crying out loud. Does anyone not realise that apple thinks they can continue redesigning thier phones every 2 years!?! The screen is the same i mean come on.
Google will now put nexus prime in our face next week.
Yeah, because the stock *never* took a hit after a keynote when Steve was CEO, right?
Where’s the “one more thing” that all the lispy fairies have been quoting and touting for weeks?
Wow…I didn’t know bigots like you still existed. Guess we gotta wait for another generation to die out till we get passed that.
PRAUS——- Was it the word lispy or fairy that got your skinny emo jeans twisted up enough to insinuate my post marked me as a biggot? In today’s liberal emotional medicated world a person can’t call it as they see it, that’s what’s wrong with our country… And here is todays “one more thing”………..We used to be a strong country before lisps and fairies
iMessage only works on wifi? Thats disappointing!
Is SIRI an iPhone 4S feature, or an iOS feature? Will it work on my iPhone 4?
I think it’s probably a 4S feature. I’d bet you need the faster processor to use it but I could be wrong.
Look at stock… brutal. Apples gigantic head it having a hard time relising they need to redesign more than every 2 years. Now we have to bear having google jamming nexus prime in our faces next week.
Funny thing just happened. I just went to apple.com and received an error message Access Denied. Are they tracking negative comments? Just joking of course!
f**k apple. i going with android.
“I Going with Android”
Exactly the type of syntax I expected from an Apple hater.
Anyone else just pick up some AAPL while it’s on sale?
i really do not get why people are so upset; look at the timeline…. iphone 3, 3gs, 4 and 4s… for those people who are saying that apple is dead and droid is better.. and go ahead switch; apple is not STOPPING YOU! you cannot satisfy everybody that is why alot of people is whining…
I think a lot of people are tire of carrying a glass brick in their pockets.
@skylec…
go ahead switch to android… NO ONE IS STOPPING YOU
What’s with the whining? I think the people who want a redesigned phone should get one with the A4 chip remaining, and the intelligent folks will take a phone that LOOKS the same, but has a far better CPU/GPU in it.
I can’t believe it took them 15 months to come up with the 4s. What a crappy ass upgrade. If this is what we have to look forward to in the Tim Cook era, I’m going to have to sell my soul to Android.
iPhone 4s = recycled parts in a iPhone 4 case. big whoop.
Don’t get me wrong the software updates are great, but the lack of significantly improved form factor with a LARGER SCREEN is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
The iPhone 4 improvements that did not occur in the 15 months that have passed since the last launch: The screen has not enlarged; The design has not slimmed down and remains a little bulky, especially compared to the iPod Touch.
Had they made these two significant changes and still called it iPhone 4S or iPhone Bazooka I’d be excited to upgrade. The internal upgrades are okay, but you can’t hold the internals or feel them in your pocket.
For the posters saying we’re losers and all we want is to see a “5” on the back: hey, numbskulls, there’s no “4” on the back of the version we all have now.
Apple delayed the release of this an extra 3 months over historical release dates. Why? The internal changes were obvious things to be done, expecially after the iPad 2. Where’s the innovation in any of today’s improvements?
Is it Think Different or Think Cautiously? This is what happens when a great business gets too rich and powerful: they begin to lumber.
I’ll stick with my iPhone 4 for now. Here’s hoping they do a real presentation with a true product upgrade next year.
HUGE UTTER PROFOUND DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Impeach Cook! Bring back Steve!!!
I have to say today was a big disappointment for me. I love my iPhone 4 but I was really hoping that Apple would offer an additional model with a larger screen size.
The 4S is certainly an impressive incremental upgrade but I fear that Apple has lost it’s chance to push the market forward again with a new cutting edge design.
I was ready to upgrade from the 4 (and possibly still will) but I think I’ll leave it a few months now and see what HTC and Nokia come up with first.
I’m on my fourth IPhone 4 and they all have been treated very well. (My wife is on her third one) I can’t complain about apple support as they replaced them all but seriously Seven Phones.. I still have my 3GS and 3G and they still work. I am very skeptical of the IPhone 4 design I have had noting but proximity sensor problems on all of them and I will say my 3GS had way fewer dropped calls and all of the IPhone 4’s were in cases. They say its all different on the inside but to me if it looks like an IPhone 4 than it must be an IPhone 4. You can’t tell me Apple didn’t know they had problems with the IPhone 4 and now they want me to believe its a different phone when it looks the same. The phone looks good but I am way skeptical to spend my money on another piece of junk with more features.
APPL -$15 down after lamefest presentation! Impeach Cook!!!!
I’m looking at this:
first the disappointment: no iP 5.
then the 4GS specs look pretty good and SIRI looks interesting if it works as well as demoed.
so why did they call it 4GS? easily could have called it a 5?
then I see ..
iP4 now at 99, 3GS free…
hmm… vast numbers of (not so techy) people might now think the 4 is a good deal (RELATED to the 4S right?) — android marketshare is gained from selling vast numbers of cheap phones. The new pricing might just snag this big market (only Apple knows the breakdown of 3GS vs 4 sales in the last year), and high end users will mostly STILL buy the 4S OR the 5 when it comes out.
SO: I set a small buy order for aapl at 360 and some more at 355 to replace some i sold at 375. Will buy more if it goes down more tomorrow.
My estimations are blurry now (don’t really know the profit margins etc) , Apple is maybe gambling with the 4S name (to associate with the $99 4 ?) but it might work to pull in large numbers of bargain hunters…
(made around 200k from aapl through the recession and I’m a small investor, betting on aapl seems to pay off)
looking at my post above maybe i’m not too clear:
what i mean is that if Apple had called it the iPhone 5 a lot of people might think the the $99 iP4 is OLD and not buy it. These bargain hunters might also not buy the iP ‘5’ as it’s too expensive.
now psychologically I think a lot of these bargain hunters might think the $99 iP4 is good deal (hey it’s related to the 4GS) and go for it instead of a cheap android.
(stats from Verizon vs AT&T which has the $49 3GS seems to show there a lot of bargain hunters)
Apple will still have the iP5 card to play later.
l’m speculating and like I said I don’t know the sales breakdown numbers or the profit margins.
shoot I kept calling it the 4GS instead of the 4S… typing too fast.
For the most part Apple’s designs are like every other piece of modern art, they still look good years after their release. They struck an amazing balance between form and function with the 4 why get rid of it after only a year? Apple is not like every other company that has to change the plastic case on their cheap products every 6 months just to keep sales up. From a business standpoint the iPhone 4 case has already been designed and minor issues worked out. Why would Apple needlessly spend millions retooling for a new design when the current 4 is selling like crazy? For those that are threatening to switch to Andriod over the lack of a newly designed case go right ahead. Enjoy the fragmentation, trojans, spyware, Microsoft tax, Oracle tax, inferior customer service and user experience.
+1
I waited nearly two years for the iPhone 5 what a let down this will probally be my last iPhone due to apples BS when it comes to the dramatic releases of their products which SUCK THANK YOU TIM COOK.
