“According to a poorly translated report from Macotakara, China Unicom’s Deputy Director of Research has confirmed an iPhone 5 with HSPA+ capabilities (21Mbps) during a keynote at Macworld Asia 2011,” Jordan Kahn reports for 9 to 5 Mac.
“We’ve heard rumors that Apple is in early testing of LTE-capable test devices, and we know AT&T has already started rolling out their HSPA+ tech and even marketing HSPA devices as ‘4G,'” Kahn reports.

Now how in the world would a Chinese Unicorn know anything about iPhone 5? I didn’t even know there were unicorns in China!
Oh come on Scotavius, everyone knows unicorns are everywhere and that they hold all of the secrets of the world.
Hey, who took my crack pipe?

Does my head on a stick bother anyone? (i just want to know)
No, doesn’t bother me.
No, but your head on a pike would..
I thought it was an actual photo.
I’ve seen a real head on a stick and nothing personal but yours is uglier. I guess it just needs to dry for a while?
ugly but worse than that is the head of the China Unicom’s Deputy Director on a stick… That is when real goes wrong.
The lack of a sniffer is most disturbing. (And thanks for asking.)
New device will be a much improved Newton.
