Purported ‘iPhone 4S’ prototype likely not from Apple

“MacPost [has posted] another image of today’s earlier ‘iPhone leak’ which shows much more of the front of the device,” Seth Weintraub reports for 9to5Mac.

“In the time since our original post this morning the iPhone 4 repair experts at iFixyouri have chimed in to note that the grill on the white iPhone front plate is a non-OEM version which likely indicates that this isn’t from Apple,” Weintraub reports. “Apple removed the grated grill during the white iPhone redesign to help with the proximity sensor issues.”

Weintraub reports, “Perhaps this one is built from parts floating around Asia, but it isn’t one that Apple would have put together itself – recently anyway.”

  1. Microsoft has some interest in Android other wise why demand royalties from the handmakers.

This has been a huge chess match. HTC, Samsung, Google and I feel watch and PLAYED by the envious Microsoft… This is why it has taken so long for them to come up with a Tablet running as poorly as what Rims playbook had last year. BS chess game by Microsoft. As a way to out do Apple. Easy partner with many an build the army.
