I wonder if this will magically appear on my TV tonight. That would be great.
You have a Mac and an AppleTV? Airplay baby!
Oh sure, don’t make video playable on the iPhone. Who wants to wait til they get home?
I know I can’t get it on my iPod touch either!!
Amazingly fast. Usually this is not released till nearly 5:00PM. I watched a little on my iPad. Great quality. About ten years ago when I was working overseas I tried watching a keynote online. I barely got audio. The image would update every few minutes. We’ve come a long way.
@home on my MacBookPro and all I get is absolutely nothing. Something is amiss at Apple today.
yeah, it couldn’t possibly be your own fault.
Just finished watching it. Gotta say waiting 4 more months for iOS 5 is going to be really painful. How ’bout that $30 Lion price? Boo Yah! Awesome price to make universal adoption by everyone possible in probably record time.
It does work on iOS devices, just not through this app. Go to the apple website and watch it there.
Tried to watch. Shaky connection at my end, kept restarting. Saw the Lion portion, looks good except for one thing. A 4GB download is not possible for me. Looks like Snow Leopard forever. Apple just doesn’t get it. A lot of the country (and world) doesn’t have the infrastructure of Cupertino. The cloud will not be reliable or fun.
You need to write Apple a feedback note telling them your problem so they will address it and send you a DVD. Don’t just roll over and give up. You need to hound Apple to get your copy of Lion. You deserve it.
I’m sure DVDs will be available. Obviously not everyone everywhere can download it around the world, and they will want everyone using it. Fear not mate, no way will they leave people in your situation out in the cold.
I have a MacBook Air that is running 10.6 and an older white macbook that is running Leopard. So i’m going to have to buy Snow F Leopard just to have the ability to BUY Lion through the Mac App Store for my white MacBook?…this seems ludicrous… I purposely didn’t want Snow F Leopard, now I have to spend $30 just to be able to upgrade…
I am so pissed off about MobileMe. I just “renewed” my 5th year subscription and now all the same services are Free? Really? Apple is a THEIF! And their refund policy is only for those who have a box? Really? How about those of us who have annual subscriptions that automatically renew (because we TRUSTED apple)? How can this even be legal? I am really pissed off at Apple and Steve Jobs should realize what Karma is really quick.
The fact that many of those services are free doesn’t mean they stole anything. They’re giving you use of the your CURRENT MobileMe access until April of 2012–that’s a full year free since they have not allowed any renewals in months.
If that’s your only case, then you don’t see the point.
Apparently, if you have Leopard, you can’t watch the keynote. 🙁
