Apple has announced minor improvements at its iconic Apple Park Visitor Center in Cupertino, California, posting a notice on its website indicating that an “update in progress” is underway.
The Visitor Center remains open to the public during the work, allowing visitors to continue enjoying many of its popular features. However, the Exhibition Space — home to a detailed 3D augmented reality model of the Apple Park campus — is temporarily closed while renovations take place.
“Please pardon our appearance while we improve our store,” Apple’s notice reads. “During this time, the Exhibition Space is temporarily closed.”
Opened in November 2017, the Apple Park Visitor Center serves as both a retail store and a major tourist destination. Guests can still purchase Apple products and merchandise, relax with a coffee at the on-site Caffè Macs, enjoy panoramic views from the rooftop terrace, or explore the adjacent “Mirage” public art installation.
