“It looks like the new iPad could come in white,” Mark Gurman reports for 9 to 5 Mac.
9 to 5 Mac has obtained a photo of a white second-generation iPad bezel, Gurman reports. ” The piece that we have (from Shenzhen City), thanks to the folks at the iFixYouri iPhone repair shop, is the ‘digitizer’ sometimes known as the the thick bezel.”
Gurman reports, “If you look closely at the back of the part, below, you will see the camera hole, which happens to fit perfectly with the iPad 2 screen protectors from our friends in Asia.”

If they release the iPad 2 this week, iPad 2 White will be available in Spring 2012 if at all… LOL
iPhone 4 White was suppose to be available at launch… 9 months later and counting and nada…
fake?
Isn’t iPad 2 supposed to do away with the home button?
I hope not. Save the Home button!
I agree. The home button needs to stay!
Reminds me of that movie entitle, “Not Another Teen Movie”, causes me to say, ‘Not Another White Apple Product Rumor’!
‘entitled’… Stupid “d”!
white as in macbook?
ooooh man!!! 😀
Two flags:
1) It’s rumored that the next iPad will do away with the home button.
2) Shouldn’t there be two holes if a front-facing camera is included? Isn’t there already a hole for the ambient light sensor in that location?
This is fake, considering the demand for these little pads is estimated at over 20 million this year, I doubt they will water down the line with a White version.
I’m holding out for beige.
Don’t you know the white iPad is for Eric T Mole? So he has something large and white to wave when Android surrenders its market share to IOS in 2011.
