MacDailyNews readers are emailing us about their new Macs, iPads, iPhones, iPods, and (a significant number of) Apple TVs they received for Christmas and Hanukkah.
The emails are great (keep sending them!), but let’s share what we received and/or gave together.
We’ll start with some tech gifts that MDN staffers got this year: An Apple TV for the bedroom (replaces a first-gen unit), an iPod nano, an Eton solar/crank radio/iPhone charger, and a Cusinart SS-700 single-serve coffee maker. Collectively, we gave Apple TVs, iPod nanos, iTunes gift cards, a Tom Bihn “Co-Pilot” bag, a Crumpler “Salary Sacrifice” backpack, and even a loaded-to-the-gills 11-inch MacBook Air was exchanged to much delight!
So, what tech (or other interesting/unusual) gifts did you get?
[UPDATE: 9:33am ET: Added links to the specific Bihn and Crumpler bags as per readers’ request.]

MBA (arrives fr Dhanghai on Wed), Sper Ddive, GC for iWork 11, MS office 2011, $500 in Apps i and GC for the iPad 2 for next year, AND 150 shares of Apple Stock, to be purchased this morning. Great Christmas. Oh, and a Vaja vase for my iPhone 4.
A tech free Christmas for my wife and I. Although we spent out fair share on gadgets over the year.
$100 gift card to Apple and an apple wireless keyboard 😀
A top of the line Bose noise canceling head set to use with the iPads at home and while recording at church. Toast 10 for pulling TiVo media to the Mac mini to stream to the iPads. There is also a keyboard case for my iPad. Need to open it today along with my Tom Tom.
I got a Virgin MiFi! The great thing is it’s not on a contract and $40 a month with unlimited downloads. Not only I don’t have to watch how much I download but it’s pay as I need it!
2 ipod touches and $50 itunes cards
If I can find one, a Panasonic GH2 Micro Four Thirds camera and a couple of lenses.
Going to the Pacific coast of Costa Rica for 10 days (Friday!!!), so it’ll come in handy.

Broke down and purchased an Apple TV.
Love IT! It can only get better…..
A little hint to Google…. it’s the software you idiots.
Did not get anything Apple tech for Christmas. I am fortunate (thankfully) enough to be able to just get what I need/want whenever I need/want.
I did give a MBP to a family member, as well as an Apple gift card good for a 32gb 3G iPad 2 to another family member. I had intended to give 4 32gb iPads (gift cards), however finally getting someone off of their Dell was the greater gift really.
2 more iPad 2s this spring and that should be good for a while. Some original iPads at the lower price when the new iPad 2s are released will help too.
Happy Holidays!
Apple TV and iTunes gift cards so far…
My second Apple TV.
No longer just a Hobby.
One more thing…… There is some mention of the $50 iTunes cards for $40.
I found $50 iTunes cards for $35 at Walmart just before thanksgiving and got 6 of those! I wish they would work on the Apple store and not just iTunes! That is 30% off… best I have seen!
“She Who Must Be Obeyed” wanted and got a Kindle. sigh.
Gave grandson an iPod touch – happiness continues…
I gave 3 iMacs to my parents, my younger brother’s family, and my older sister’s family. I also gave 10 iPads to my parents, nieces and nephews. My nieces and nephews range from the age of 4 thru 15.
I’d like to add that my gifts listed above, all possible thanks to gains in AAPL.
Gave the wife a 13″ MBA. Sweet Apple technology. I received about 100 in iTunes cards…finally gonna buy Angry Birds for iPad(4.99 kept me away!)
A second Apple TV for the family room
Got the wife a zomm. She’s always leaving her phone somewhere.
Gave a new Mac mini and monitor to my wife. For the daughter got a pretty, blue iPod Nano with a Griffen Slap wristband so she can wear it like a watch. From my wife I received a Citizen Eco-Drive “Colibre 2100” titanium chronograph wristwatch. Very nice. And, of course, we got to visit with dozens of friends an family.
