“Now there’s a browser for Mac users that’s made specifically to enhance your online social life. Speedy. Stable. Secure. Social. One app. One click,” Ron McElfresh reports for Mac360.
“This year, Flock divorced Firefox. Now it’s married to Google’s Chrome browser,” McElfresh reports. “Chrome is based on WebKit, the engine in Apple’s Safari browser.”
McElfresh reports, “The new Flock 3 still integrates a number of social web sites into browser windows and handy, tool-like sidebars. There’s support for Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, to mention a few. Flock on Chrome is easier to use, fast, stable, secure, slimmed down, and with fewer features. So, why bother with yet another free browser on your Mac? Because you love being a social animal and it’s nice to socialize from one single app, rather than many apps.”

Flock it.
Im already using Rock Melt. Its based on Chrome and is has a heavy facebook integration. Also manages all of my feeds very nicely. Highly recommend it
Bah humbug!
Who gives a flock?
Wake me up when MDN has something interesting to report..
The world does not need yet another browser, let alone another Google based one.
Go away Flock is my message too…
Flock is ghey.
Ooh ooh, I got one!!!
Uh,… “I’m a floc-” … er, no, wait… Oh! “How about those flocker-” wait, no… Ooh!! “Heeey, it’s a flock thing!” get it, a “flock thing”. haha! …a flock thing…
My som beat up your social.
How many different frickin’ browsers do we need? Sheesh. One is more than enough. And it’s called Safari.
Socializing is being with other people in close contact and interacting with them. Sitting in front of Facebook or Twitter and typing anything about everything is AntiSocialaizing.
This sounds like one of the rings of hell.
firefox ftw.
@mr Reese
“How about a Get Off My Lawn browser for grumpy bastards.”
Where do I sign up?
I switched to firefox years ago, I leave IE on my pc, or safari on my macs for times when sites don’t like firefox.
And unless ms buys firefox (or adobe) I’ll stick with it.
Safari is my 2nd choice.
And outside of mdn I don’t do social crap anymore. Old bastard.
Even have a shirt “you read my shirt, that’s enough social interaction for one day”
@Cubert
“Sounds like people aren’t really flocking to it.”
No kidding, who wants to be just another sheep. bwaaaahaaahaaa
Just tried it, like chrome with a prettier stock theme and an annoying side window
uninstalled
Time to delete it from my computer then since it’s abandoning FF and hocking up with the worst possible shit as in Chrome.
What a coincidence, all of the mac fanboys are antisocial.
