Apple shares hit new all-time intraday, closing highs

  1. The Achilles heel is the answer to the question : What is China going to do about it’s undervalued currency?
    If the Chinese government floats it’s currency it could take production costs much higher- very fast. Apple has more cushion than most with profit margins that run from 20-30%, depending on product, that could be severely pinched should exchange rates change.
    The real question is not if- but when. Also will the rate be adjusted, or will the rate be allowed to float.
    Other than that, Apple is hitting on all cylinders. However, I would not be surprised if Apple quietly relocated some production elsewhere as insurance.

  2. Aapl should definitely pass 300 tomorrow. Hopefully it will close there. We have earnings call coming soon so the ramp up is due in some part to that.

    My question is what is the bottom price for aapl now? 280 or will it be over 300 in a few weeks? The stock goes up in surges most of the time, stabilizes for a while and goes up again.
