Mercedes-Benz rolls out Apple iPads to all U.S. dealerships

“The company launched a pilot program in June, initially distributing iPads to just 40 outfits,” Electronista reports. “The stated intent was to keep dealers and customers out by the cars, rather than forcing people to retreat back to an office to hash out details.”

The last time I looked, the iPad is wildly popular and selling like crazy. Limiting it’s spread and growth? Apple can’t make enough of the things. You get a 0 out of 10. Go back to troll elementary school.

    LOL

  3. Just fyi I had my ipad for a couple of month now and I love it so much, when I mention that it lacks some features and capabilities, I wanted to raise my hand as a happy and satisfied customer and ask Apple to consider things that will make their customers more happy and loyal( no comment on elementary school…..)

  5. @Ossama,

    1. No Flash Support. I see this as a benefit rather than a hinderance.
    2. No Printing. Fixed in iOS 4.2 due out in November.
    3. No direct download. Have no idea what you mean by this.
    4. No folders & subfolder. Fixed in iOS 4.2 due out in November.
    5. Must use iTunes for everything. Can’t really see a problem with this.
    6. Support for different video format. VLC is now available on the App Store for free, and plays just about anything.
