Mercedes-Benz rolls out Apple iPads to all U.S. dealerships

“Auto maker Mercedes-Benz has announced that all of its 355 US dealerships should soon be equipped with 3G iPads,” Electronista reports.

“The company launched a pilot program in June, initially distributing iPads to just 40 outfits,” Electronista reports. “The stated intent was to keep dealers and customers out by the cars, rather than forcing people to retreat back to an office to hash out details.”

    I am rocking my brand new MacBook Pro 15″ 1.53 GHz i5 slick macheen! My old PowerBook died in March, and I have been using my girlfriend’s 13″ MacBook Pro since then. This thing rocks!

  5. There is a great opportunity here for Apple to reciprocate! They could distribute a Mercedes or two to each Apple store. Imagine how useful not too mention classy) it would be to be given a ride from the store entrance to the display of the new AppleTVs!
