  1. We will not see any negatives re Droids in the press or on TV news. Last night SF local CBS station had a fellow showing how big and beautiful the screen is. Finally an iPhone killer he indicated, and also on Verizon so you can actually complete a call. Leno had another dig last night at iPhone 4 saying that too bad Mel Gibson didn’t use one then he couldn’t have made those calls to his girlfriend. Only iPhone and Apple get the constant attention of the news. Good or bad it is everywhere.

A gadget with problems? Dammmmit call the lawyers, the media, the government, the aliens!!!!!! Wwaaaahhhhh !!!!!!!!

Perhaps, if one has paid over £500 for it. When a consumer spends money on an item it is not unreasonable to expect it to work satisfactorily out the box.

  3. Do I have to buy the phone first or can I just start acting like Motorola and Google OWES ME big time!? WHY ARE THEY TAKING SO LONG TO FIX THIS . . . don’t they know that a very good friend of mine was thinking about buying the phone and it might have THE (insert correct problem) big problem. Why have they DONE NOTHING?

  4. Of course this won’t get as much attention, just like it didn’t get as much attention when it was announced.

Apple, for good and for bad, are in the media’s eye more than any other tech company. When the launch of a phone is huge news its only fair that the associated problems are also big news. Nobody is picking on Apple – they are just the hot topic

  5. Let’s apply the same logic the Press applies to Apple issues… Let’s recall this product now! This issue only apply to a limited number of people. That doesn’t matter, recall this product now!
