Apple App Store approves iPhone 4 LED flashlight apps

“Each app, however, must include a disclaimer that continued use of the iPhone’s LED may dramatically decrease battery life,” MacRumors reports.

  1. I’ve used the screen itself for helping me out on the dark. It is really quite bright. The led light may be more efficient since the emitted surface area is less.

  2. this is just ridiculous, we need to get to the bottom of this led battery design fault. Apple can’t make a phone that goes dead when you use the flash, that would make them microsoft. I’m giving back my iphone 4 today because of this terrible oversight on apples part!!!!
