Maybe this will fix my intermittent connectivity problem where the Airport occasionally goes out to lunch.
Airport still BUGGY! This update did NOT fix a problem that I have had ever since upgrading my MacBook Pro to Snow Leopard from Tiger. Basically, I can’t transfer any files over about a few Kb (>500Kb) across to my partner’s MacPro (also upgraded to Snow Leopard) over our Airport link. Never had any such problems all the time when we were with Tiger! Very disappointing given all the hype about Snow Leopard.
@Chris-
We’re not having that problem, as far as I’ve seen. Maybe it’s unique to your situation somehow? What type of file sharing? Does it work using Bonjour iChat? Any error messages? Do you have a thread on Apple’s forums I can follow?
Update does not fix the issue of internet sharing, well for me anyway. Look around, there are numerous cases where the update does nothing. Big letdown Apple…
still using 10.5.8 and arrow won’t come in airport symbol when i try to share internet— so i cannot share internet—-
Installed this update and I never had problems before, but now I have ZERO connectivity to my WiFi router. This sucks – wish I could uninstall. 🙁
Using MacBook Pro and LinkSys router.
Horrible update! It breaks internet sharing on computers that had no problems before.
anyone know if they’re gonna fix this?
still no internet sharing!
i haven’t tried this yet:
