  1. I agree that this is worth it for DriveGenius alone. I bought the second Mac bundle ever about a year ago and it was totally worth it even if I never use half of what I bought. I still got a hell of a deal.

  2. I ordered yesterday and when I placed my order, the website displayed 4667 bundles purchased. They said that the first 5000 would get iDive, but when I received my email with all my purchase info they said that i would not get iDive since there had been more than 5000 sold. Shenanigans! They suck, sorry I gave them my money.

  3. This bundle is awesome – it looks like the demand has been pretty huge too – the servers have been slow sometimes, but I just ordered no problem. The comments page say that some people did not get iDive serials (when it was capped at 5000), but that they would – anyone ordering before 10,000 sold should get it. Go get your before its too late!

  4. What Size and Default Folder X are great apps. Used them for a few years.

Finally got through after repeated attempts. The whole world must be ordering. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  5. I bought it before seeing this on MDN. I wish I did, I would have clicked on the link from here to support MDN. Oh well.

Meanwhile, speaking of VirusBarrier X, has anyone here installed it?
Is it as buggy as, say the Norton etc? I have ClamXav and so far it’s very good, but I hardly ever use it. I so wish Grisoft did an AVG for Mac. Oh well.

Anyway, like many of you here, I too now have this VirusBarrierX, is there any point installing it just because it was ‘free?’
Would you say, I should just ignore it, or does it have certain pros that ClamXav doesn’t have?
Any thoughtful response would be appreciated as one would expect from the great Mac community.

I’ve been using iDive for years. Think of it like iTunes for your video clips. It’s basically an importing/cataloging apps to help you keep track of your video footage. Instead of having a shoe box full of video tapes, you create ‘libraries’ in iDive, and import the footage on to your hard drive.

It does way more than I can explain here, but rest assured, the many ways it allows your to tag your footage then search your total video library for the footage you’re looking for saves tons of time. You can then immediately import it into iMovie or Final Cut Express or Pro.

It can also import other clips you might have on your system, so it’s not limited to camcorder use. Well worth checking out.
