  1. This is a standoff…the Chinese are experts in bartering…Apple is thinking that the Chinese really need the iPhone…the Chinese are thinking that Apple really needs them.
The truth is that both could use each other and a deal is good for both…but the Chinese will NOT
deal until Apple opens their doors first.
I have been to China three times and seen them barter over the cost of a taxi ride and also a three dollar homemade kite sold on the street. They will barter over everything and stand firm. It is their way of life.

  2. Screw china mobile and their communist government. it wouldnt be the iphone if it was in china, and they would listen in on all your conversations and make sure you only downloaded China approved games. Apple should skip over china.

  3. China is a disgusting shit hole and should not be worthy of dealing with civilized nations. As for all the goods coming from China, drop ’em in the sea and start making that shit in Detroit.

  4. zach thank you for a very well thought out, informed and logical analysis there. probably worth thinking about changing your name now so that when the world is run by China you just may be a little bit more difficult to track down in Dimsville.

  5. I hope they get the iPhone in China, here in Finland it costs 0,90€ every hour (6,90€/day max) just to have the iPhone on. That’s why I have it on airplane mode and use my old phone, until I go back to China. Clever plot though, MobileMe keeps the data traffic going all the time and without it there is no Address Book. 🙁 At least the WiFi works well.

I think Sonera is at it again, last summer they continued charging me for DSL, even their equipment had been removed from this highrise building. Nice to be able to charge for vapor services.

  6. @ Sir Bill Gates

“That’s already been done for decades by General Motors.”

    Lol! Good one…and quite true too! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />

Yeah. People from that disgusting shit hole taking away your jobs and money, huh? Ever heard of this thing of “upgrading yourself” and “working hard”? Maybe some of you should try it. You know, instead of sitting on your asses feeling sorry for yourselves.

Civilized nations. Yeah, the world would love to have civilized people like yourself.

  8. Uh MacShelkh, I didn’t even say anything about being lazy. I just hate shit made in china because….well…. because their shit is shit. As for shit being made in Detroit do you mean it’s shit or shit? What do you mean by shit? Because I mean shit as in STUFF. And for your ASSumption of me being lazy and sitting on my ass, I am self employed and have been for 20 years. I am self made and have worked my way up. I’ll bet I make more money though sitting on my ASS than you can standing up. And that is no SHIT. Stop your bullshit downing of my country. I’ll buy Detroit over China any day, shit for brains.

  9. I love my iPhone, have 2 of ’em, and honestly it has been the biggest piece of shit I have purchased from Apple. But I love it, weird huh? Anyway, I have replaced one iPhone 5 times and my second phone 3 times. Both in 10 months. So please tell me honestly, would you call anything else with the same problems shit? But hey, it’s good shit.
