Pro Applications Updates improve reliability for Apple’s professional applications and are recommended for all users of Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Server, and Logic Studio.
Pro Applications Update 2008-02 addresses installation issues, compatibility updates, and general performance issues and improves overall stability.

• Compressor 3.0.3

This update corrects a problem that occurred capturing still frames off an HDV clip from the Final Cut 6.0.2 timeline. Previously the still was saved in more of a 4:3 aspect ratio than 16:9. Up till now the only way to correct that was to import the frame into Photoshop and stretch out the horizontal.

hmmm, a Pro Application update recommended for Logic Studio users that you have to enter a Final Cut serial number to download.
