I’m sorry, but we need another 2 months to make sure it’s perfect. You don’t mind waiting a little bit more, do you?
No more delays. How wrong art thou! I’m man of my word. That cat will let loose in less than 24 hours. Leopard will be so awesome, that there will be a widespread case of creamed pants.™
“I’m through with Apple until they distance themselves from politics.”
What? Um whatever.
If you are going to use politics as a benchmark then be prepared to distance yourself from a lot of companies.
My pre-order of Leopard just got delivered an hour ago, go Australia! its nice being 10hrs ahead of GMT! The box is preeeetttty, holograph pictures.
@ not waiting
Great point. Finally someone on MDN who grasps the obvious. What you MAC sheeple don’t realize is you’re selling you soul to the devil when you purchase Apple’s products.
I call on Apple to drop their political agenda and try some new things: make products that aren’t a copy of Microsoft’s innovative hard work and stop shackling the customer to proprietary formats.
Your potential. Our passion.™
Unless of course you live in the correct time zone. Have received Leopard and installation is underway on MacBook Pro
My copy is going to be delivered tomrrow, but I’m going to be in kine to Buy a another family pack. Got 8 Macs that I can install it on. It’ll be worth the wait!
Hey Zune Tang
You do know that Rush Limbaugh is a MAC head, don’t you?
Holy hell, I just woke up from a migraine. And I actually dreamed that I was using Leopard. I opened the system preferences to setup time-machine and when I actually opened time machine, I woke up.
It’s a first for me to have one of a computer operating system.
Forgot everyone is about 18 hours behind us (here in NZ). Leopard was delivered this afternoon and have finally got it all set up again (used erase and install).
Definitely impressive.
Zune Tang… I think you better rewrite your diatribe as:
“Great point. Finally someone on MDN who grasps the obvious. What you Windows sheeple don’t realize is you’re selling you soul to the devil when you purchase Microsoft’s products.
I call on Microsoft to drop their political agenda and try some new things: make products that aren’t a copy of Microsoft’s innovative hard work and stop shackling the customer to proprietary formats.
Your Mac OS X. Our Vista.™”
Zune Tang, you make me laugh so much. On the eve of Apple’s Leopard release, you get so insanely jealous of them.
I have Leopard in my greasy mitts right now. WOOHOO!!
So, MDN writes “24 hours!” and puts a photo of the Mac OS X box under it. We write the replies, and walla! Making money with adds.
I’m impressed!
Just having some fun MDN.

I was the first to buy the Leopard Family Pack at 06:03pm at Mac & Me, Newport just north of Sydney, Australia.
One MBPro currently being upgraded as I log this on MDN using my iMac G5.
May the next one be called Cougar! Failing that, Bobcat will do…
Change your location system preference to east coast Australia and VOILA … Leopard is now available (after you refresh your webpage).
THE WOW BEGINS NOW!
I used Time Machine, went forward, and got a copy.
Those lucky who ordered online (me!), will get their copy by 10:30am (Fedex Overnight!)
I will use my “sick” card at work.
BTW, in Europe, the premiere is @ 6pm local time, so it’s few hours earlier than in US, WTF!
“I used Time Machine, went forward, and got a copy.”
Well, I sure wasn’t paying attention.
Now, I’m suddenly stuck in System 6.0.4. Insert disk? Oh crap.
Leopard has arrived!
Install begins now…
Install completed a few hours ago. No hickups. Works like a charm
