Any news about how much RAM it needs compared to Tiger? Should I upgrade my mom’s eMac, or will she regret it because things slow to a crawl? She’s probably not going to get usable performance with the CoverFlow type features. What else will she NOT get?
How much additional hard drive space will it require (aside from Time Machine)?

Thanks!!! LOL. I was running around getting a project ready for a UK client, uploading images to an East Coast server and getting ready for a Hong Kong shoot and then I read you comment. Laughing made me return to a more relaxed state.

Ok I might be opening myself up to a little criticism here because I’m commenting on something that most people consider a benign subject but….. I really can’t wait for my copy to arrive tomorrow. I do so much on my mac; website for a local charity which requires use of iphoto, imovie etc… I take my iPhone absolutely everywhere I go and there has never been an individual who has looked at it and not been impressed. My television time is almost completely commercial free with “Apple TV. Hey I know I’m an Apple “Nut” go ahead and call me that, I can live with that. Bottom line, I sure do have a lot of FUN!

I’m through with Apple until they distance themselves from politics. Even the best products aren’t worth having your patronage put into other people’s pockets.

Holy hell, I just woke up from a migraine. And I actually dreamed that I was using Leopard. I opened the system preferences to setup time-machine and when I actually opened time machine, I woke up.
It’s a first for me to have one of a computer operating system.
Forgot everyone is about 18 hours behind us (here in NZ). Leopard was delivered this afternoon and have finally got it all set up again (used erase and install).
Definitely impressive.

I was the first to buy the Leopard Family Pack at 06:03pm at Mac & Me, Newport just north of Sydney, Australia.
One MBPro currently being upgraded as I log this on MDN using my iMac G5.
