Nice ads, but I absolutely HATE the background music.
The top add (“instead”) is the best. The other, just OK.
Finally after 6 years of trials and errors, a company finally created the ultimate iPod killer, the iPhone!
Has anyone else noticed the ringtone used in these ads is not available on actual iPhones?
I like the iPhone ads, they’re concrete. But why can’t they make Mac ads that actually show people what they can do with OS X and how it looks/works, the way they advertise the iPhone? Apple’s Mac advertising is always so abstract.
I want more “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” ads!
@Jooop
Agreed. Apple should do an ad blitz with iLife and iWork and OS X in general.
The Mac is just as easy to use as the iPhone, after all it’s the same operating system.
They need to nail the thought into people’s heads that the iPhone and the Mac work as one to serve their computing and communications needs.
I wonder how much Orba Squara gets for these ads?

Johnny Appleseed must be too busy these days to call the iphone in the commercials anymore. Too bad. He was a stand-up guy.
I think they should hire the hacked up thumbs guy to do the ads. BTW, if I alter my thumbs with an X-acto knife, will they be covered under Apple Care?
“Johnny Appleseed must be too busy these days . . .”
He’s being investigated by Homeland Security for driving around with a truck full of fertilizer. You can call him at his new home at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.
Where are the, “Hi, I’m and iPod” — “Hi, I’m a Zune.” ads?
I ahven’t seen any Mac vs. Pc ads for awhile. Only the new iMac ads. My money is on them dropping that campaign. Advertising for the iMac until October, when they will advertise Leopard and all of the things that Leopard does easily compared to Vista.
@Kirkgray – No one is willing to stoop so low as to play the Zune in the ads. Even Charlie Sheen wouldn’t take the part.
@ Edgy
That and people know what a PC is. iPod/Zune ads would have people around the water cooler the next day saying, “I say the new iPod commercial last night. What the hell is a Zoon?!?”
I love the background music. I’ve downloaded it and play it nonstop as the background music of my life. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

I was getting tired of Calamari anyway, it needed a refresher.
I’d much rather watch the iPhone eat Microsoft/Verizon/Motorola ‘s lunch anyway.
These ads must be designed to edumacate all the idiots who say “SIX hundred dollars fo a phone!” oh and “Thats the most expensive phone ever!”
You said:
“These ads must be designed to edumacate all the idiots who say “SIX hundred dollars fo a phone!” oh and “Thats the most expensive phone ever!”
oh com’n…. WHO would be stupid enough to say such a thing?
The iPhone guy drives me up the wall with his ADHD.
“Ooh, I wanna listen to some music… Wait, do I have new email? Oh yeah, I haven’t finished watching that movie I downloaded! Dude, check out this skateboarding dog on You Tube! Where’s that sushi place again? Oh, I got a phone call.”
