Apple today released iTunes 7.3.1 for Mac and Windows which addresses a minor problem with iTunes 7.3 accessing the iTunes Library.
With iTunes 7.3, you can now activate iPhone service and sync it with your music, TV shows, movies and more. Also, you can now wirelessly share and enjoy your favorite digital photos from any computer in your home with Apple TV.
iTunes 7.3.1 is available via Software Update and also as standalone installers.

isn’t snappier a red fish? Downloaded the update and I’m waiting with my pole in my hand. No pun intended!! Okay…maybe just a little bit….Nom pun intended…AGAIN!! Will someone help me?
my iPhone now has GPS and an 80GB drive. Thanks, Apple.
Mine onl got the unlocked SIM card and a 10 mega pixel zoom camera.
Wonder what happened?
My iPhone suddenly got up, walked off the table, and said, “So long, Loser! I’m going to Hollywood!” as it walked out the door.
Damn you Apple!
WTF just happened?
AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I’ve got 5 Macs.
Installed 7.3.1 on two, and they can no longer be used to purchase and download music from iTMS.
As a “control”, I backed up machine #3 (which purchased and downloaded without error 2 hours ago), then updated it.
WHAM! Can’t purchase nor download music.
I get a pretty little java.exception box, I’m asked if I “forgot my password”, and that’s as far as she goes.
I immediately restored computer # 3, and it logs in, purchases and downloads without error.
MW “trouble”?
You can’t make this stuff up!
The fix is posted on Apple’s discussion board

My iPhone turned into a Touch-Sensitive Table. 🙁
At least I can still play all my music. . . damn!
good grief
So if you don’t purchase iTunes music, or use an iPhone what does this update actually do?
Doesn’t help me at all. Haven’t been able to use my iPhone with iTunes since I bought it. Running OZ X 10.4.10, iTunes 7.3 (now 7.3.1). iPhoto sees the iPhone, system profiler also says it is there on USB high speed bus but iTunes can’t communicate with it.Same problem on two Macs. Works with iTunes on the Win XP machine but I don’t use that much.
I still can’t install iTunes or Quicktime on my Vista machine. Errors out every time during install. Always has.
I wonder if apple would release iTunes 7.3.2.1.c.b.a
Leaky tap in bathroom fixed.
BBQ cleaned.
Socks darned.
$1,000,000 in my new Swiss bank account.
Oh, and me mouse is way zippy, now.
Thank you Apple.
I installed it and got an immediate craving for bacon.
The unthinkable horror of it all.
I had the same problem. Thanks for posting the link.

Generally speaking, that’s probably a private matter.

This thread freakin’ cracks me up.
And, Ashnazg, yes, people are joking.
Now if we could only stream porn on the iphone, I would be a happy camper!
