Apple today released iTunes 7.3.1 for Mac and Windows which addresses a minor problem with iTunes 7.3 accessing the iTunes Library.
With iTunes 7.3, you can now activate iPhone service and sync it with your music, TV shows, movies and more. Also, you can now wirelessly share and enjoy your favorite digital photos from any computer in your home with Apple TV.
iTunes 7.3.1 is available via Software Update and also as standalone installers.

33mb for a minor issue?
The black selection bar in itunes is gone.
my mouse seems snappier now!
It was a MAJOR problem for me…
safari is definitely snappier.
It’s a corporal problem for me.
Front Row is snappier! Oh wait, no it’s not… it’s still slow as hell.
I hope this update fixes the media syncing issue I’ve been having with my new iPhone. Contacts, bookmarks, and calendars sync fine, but when it gets to music, podcasts, videos — and most frequently photos — iTunes “loses connection” to the iPhone. The only (temporary) fix was to reinstall iTunes. Mind you, I don’t have this problem syncing the same files to my Apple TV.
I’ll try it when I get home.
What is NOT snappier is the download speed. I’ve been d/l for quite a while now at 30-40KB/sec, and I’ve got a big pipe. (You know, bandwidth.)
I love how after these types of updates users chime in with “My machine runs better now!”
Yes… I’m so sure an iTunes update makes the mouse move faster… I can only hope they’re joking….
Has anyone else noticed that artist names starting with a number now show up at the bottom when sorting (since iTunes 7.1.0). Weird.
I did notice that… and it annoyed me. Why change this? Was it necessary?
all in all, my system feel much snappier now.
my windows computer is now faster. THANKS ITUNES UPDATE for fixing my Excel problem!
It cured my nagging back pains. Thanks Apple!
I’m glad MOST of you see the sarcasm!
My life is now SNAPPIER!

As I understand it, Apple does not follow the patch model like Windows. Instead, they reinstall the whole program with the new fix. That is why some of these updates are so large.
I don’t have the clap anymore…. Cool
And, I heard Bush is abdicating the throne. Thanks iTunes 7.3.1!
Ron Jeremy, don’t be overconfident about the iTunes fix for your clap! People are reporting elsewhere that it was just relocated within the directory into an invisible file. There’s a way to access it, but you’ll have to ask around since I wasn’t on my computer at the time and don’t have the link! However, others have reported that changing the location of their clap has caused an improvement in certain other areas of their lives. So I suppose Apple did a good thing helping you all out via this iTunes update!
I got a rock…

It’s crack-a-lackin!
my iPhone now has GPS and an 80GB drive. Thanks, Apple.
Oh, and notes is snappier!
My condoms are snappier.
