MacDailyNews Note: “I am putting a sell on Apple, the company that created the iPhone,” Laura Goldman, investment advisor, LSG Capital, May 21, 2007. AAPL closed at $111.98 that day.

  1. Love the quote of Laura Goldman in the MDN take. Let’s see: by holding on to my AAPL stock against her recommendations, I’ve gained $12.51 in just 13 trading days. By my accounting, that’s about 11% interest in 13 days. There are portfolios that wish they could get 11% a year!!!! Thanks Laura.

  2. @Mac n’ Cheese
I did a google search on her last night. Found some articles she wrote in Israel about the rabbi’s needing to be locked up. I’m not sure but it appears that her company is run outta her house. No contact info that I could find

  3. Look for a dip early next week. The “Buy the rumor, sell the news” crowd will all bail as soon the WWDC announcements wrap up. This dip will represent a good buying opportunity and I suspect the price to climb higher before the big dip on the iPhone release, the same crowd will exit once again, expect a 10-15% drop then followed by a slow steady increase that builds till macworld.
