Come on Steve, let me add a 12inch MBP to the list…
Once the RDF dissipates, what’s the real difference from the dozens of GSM, MP3 and GPS enabled PocketPC’s out there? I’m “Pocket MacOS” is nicer than “Windows Mobile” or whatever it’s called – but will the Apple price premium be justified?
Samsung/Nokia/Sony Ericsson all pooping themselves
here comes the price….
oh, and you’ll need an unlimited data plan…
Cingular loves this, I bet.
See photos at:

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but GMS/EDGE means that the iPhone will NOT work on Verizon Wireless.
Right?
My fingers might be too fat to use a qwerty without a stylus
peaPod — thanks for the link…those photos are SHWEET!!!!!
Spouse is going to kill me when I tell him all the crap I’m buying…
Speaking of doomsayers:

Ok, I’m so sure he won’t announce an iphone that I will stop posting here if he does!
Time to put up and shut up.
Anakni — expect plenty of help from 3rd party manufacturers; someone’s going to come out with a stylus, possibly even as part of a case/stylus combo…stylus might also be good for folks with hand disabilities…
Yahoo??
Why not free POP through gmail?
imap can be pushed….don’t know about POP…this thing is for BUSINESS…sneaky!
Agree, anakni — already have a Gmail account, maybe something’s in the works…
But might get a Yahoo account as a backup for when I’m traveling…
“Yahoo??
Why not free POP through gmail?”
It supports any POP/IMAP, its saying it supports push IMAP through Yahoo
Gmail only offers POP, not IMAP
gonna cost a mint…he’s taking WAY too much time selling it twice
Apple stock currently up $2.43 !!!
This is great — so much for leaving before 11am…we’ll make it to Moscone by 1 at least…
Links into google maps!!! Can tell where u are??!
Remember…..: Let’s have a new Mac announcement, Steve, what the hell? Who gives a flip about the friggin’ phone and iPod, I use computers for work! not play!
iPhone is a Mac. Read the live feed: iPhone runs on Mac OS X – five years ahead of everything… It’s a palmtop computer mainly for playing media and communication, but it also runs Safari and Dashboard.

You are in luck, they both are the same device. You save money.
“Wow. Just wow. How are they going to make enough?”
My question too — maybe I’d better ditch the spouse and head for the nearest Apple Store (right up the street on Stockton, awesome)…
MacRumors refreshing a lot faster — they must have faster typists (lol)…
Collaboration with Google…that sounds great…
“wimax is coming” Yeah. I know it’s coming, but WHEN?
All right, all right, I want the freakin’ phone…but there’s only 20 minutes left, where’s my 12in MBP????
This is a great link about he new Apple iphone, with pics from the conference.
